After a very, very annoying writers block, I have busted out of the shell of stagnation and have come back with vigor unbeknownst to mankind. That is, if nothing gets screwed in my day to day life. Which, since I am very inactive in society, is unlikely to happen, so yeah.

Back to writing about a mercenary who doesn't understand the word "Polite".

That's right, you heard me! I have no idea what I'm doing, and I don't care! From this point forward, until I feel ready, I'm going to be writing my tail off working on random one-shots of various genres for no other reason than to clear my head. You guys are free to criticize, and are welcome to tell me if some of them should be continued or not. My first story will be coming around 8:00 or so. After that, it's all up to my idea clock. Hey Skieeees!!!!! It's been a long time, i know. It's just that school's been kicking my ass lately(constant tests, tutoring all of my classmates, exams approaching,...). Yeahhh, that Shining Interlude kind of spawned into something more monstrous than I intended. I'm at 8k words at the moment and am still adding more. I'll go into more detail as an author's note with the chapter (whenever it's done) but my main issue is that I forgot that I'm dealing with a younger Shining and he shouldn't be a Captain yet. I have an interesting case of writers block. Sometimes I write a story and I get some good chapters in.. but I don't know how to continue the story.

Now, for those that still read this story, it isn’t dead.

My old computer on the other hand is dead, and it had a lot of my stuff on it except the next chapter.

But I sadly needed a new computer to write and so I managed to get a new one. Not as good as my old one but good enough to run ARK with A LOT of lag.

Well, isn't this swell. I can't decide if I want to slosh through another chapter of an existing story or slosh through the first chapter of a new one. I keep flipping between the two. It doesn't help that I have a lot of offline stories currently in the works. GAH!

So, this is the situation with Chapter 5.

The whole thing is pretty much drafted, save for a couple of sections which have their ends completed in bullet points. I know the tone and goals of the chapter, and I'm pretty much set to get it done. Shouldn't take long to complete, right?
