Did you all see that neat new pony stuff that came out recently?
I can see why people are so enamored with Sonata Dusk and Sunset now.

I really hope it is good. I've been a bit disappointed with season 4 so far.
Though of course, we all know what this means... that's right, I get to put in another thing on my bingo card.
Clearly the most important part of this revelation.
Just wanted to get people's reactions to the season 6 premiere the other day.
I know that the reveal of the new bouncy baby brat drew quite a lot of contempt. I agree that it felt a bit odd to me at first, but the writers were able to pacify me by showing how this particular baby was not normal, not even for alicorn's, not too mention according to Luna and Celestia, there has never been a born alicorn before.
I didn't think they'd be able to top the season 4 finale but episode 13 of this season was just as good as it. Maybe even a smidge better! I can't wait for the finale of season 5! I am expecting it to be much better than last seasons. Which is mind blowing to me. And Super exciting!
Say what you will about the recent quality of the show (I know I want to say something about the S8 finale). But this trailer just... I have no words.
AJ: "That's it, then?"
May G4 go out the way it came in: ON TOP.
I have many favorite episodes of MLP. I decided to challenge myself to see if I could pick out about 26 of my favorite episodes to make it into a full season. Just like all seasons of MLP, there will only be one premiere and only one finale in the season. Here it is, my dream season of MLP episodes:
So, I mentioned in a comment somewhere that I was working on an seven or so part series of blogs about the season six finale. I actually got most of it done, somewhere around 11.5k words. But, I'm not going to post it. I looked at it a few weeks ago, and it just sounds too much like whining.
A lot of people claim that Applejack has no character development, but this is simply not true. In fact, she has perhaps the most linear character development in the whole series. It stretches across 3 episodes which, in my mind, contitute a trilogy: Applebuck Season, The Last Roundup, and Apple Family Reunion.
Okay, so I'm not going to post any spoilers, but I'm going to give my opinion of the finale and where it ranks with all the other finales.
I tried, I honestly really tried to wait for the episodes release. Even with the slightly off audio and it not in HD I just couldn't wait.
So yeah, basically, Inception.....with ponies and no Édith Piaf songs or Hans Zimmer music.
Am I the only guy who felt the dreams weren't weird enough? Like, too liniar?
Probably nitpicking.
But yeah, I felt it was fine, if somewhat marred by the fact that Luna was foolish/guilty enough to basically torture herself night after night.
Damn girl, move on.
In the last months, we've seen these ponies
On many an inner journey,
And to end this season, I have composed
This poetic summery.
First Twilight went to the Crystal Empire
(In the loosest sense of the word),
To save it from King Sombra,
Let the Flugglehorn be heard!
Then Pinkie thought to clone herself
In order to increase her fun,
But that wasn't such a good idea
When all was said and done.
And the Cutie Mark Crusaders
Added Babs Seed to their ranks,
I wanted to give you guys this post because for some reason...it sort of clicked in my head that there were some episodes of MLP: FiM’s eighth and ninth season that hold no mentioning or share a certain element of continuity with the other episodes of those seasons. I figured it’d be fun to show you guys what episodes I found that can very much be considered prequels to both those seasons and the movie.
So, without further ado, here they are:
Warning: Season-wide spoilers abound. Proceed with caution.
I need to write this while the emotions of the finale are still fresh in my mind. Though the stories will continue in the comics (and countless fanfics, I'm sure), this is truly the end of an animation era. So, as a final season, did it go out with a bang, or a whimper? Follow me below the break to see my take.
So Rarity's a detective novel buff.
Geez, Rainbow, don't just slam open doors like that!
...yeah they really need to do something about that door.
Wow, Rainbow, could you have made a bigger stain over Wind Rider?
Rainbow's dorky celebration dance is so adorable. It's already all over Derpibooru. It'll be memed to hell and back.
And now we're in a detective noir film.
Incidentally, this is how I would have written it:
The only conclusion I can draw from this is that guys in snazzy suits are trouble!
So after a thoughtless comment by Spike, Twilight freaks out and goes back to her old tower in Canterlot, which is exactly the way she left it all the way back in episode one.
Twilight seems to have forgotten that she never really HAD friends in Canterlot in the first place...
Why did Spike even list Lyra off? Lyra lives in Ponyville!
Wow, that was an interesting way to explain why Minuette, Lemonhearts, and Twinkleshine are constantly turning up in Ponyville crowd scenes.
This is late, but felt like posting this anyway! Huge pony news coming up! Get the spoilers after the break!
