Well, been looking for a job... That's been running smoothly. Even though I just applied for 3 other places, I'm still waiting to hear back from another that I sent my resume to a few weeks ago. Come on, Slappy Cakes! If that doesn't work, I got the other ones to look forward to.

Other than the Job Search, I just started Online School, and I am enjoying it immensely. A lot more freedom, but busy mornings. That's really the only downside I've run across so far.

My current job is a contract position, and when all of this Covid stuff started, the company I'm working at did a blanket extension of all possible max end dates for another three months. That put my date at the end of the year. The contract itself is updated every three months, so original it was supposed to end at the end of September.

I now work for the county office of education as a Head Start teacher. For those unfamiliar, it's kind of like government-funded preschool for low-income families.

Edit: Okay, it's not a complete joke. There's actually a lot of good stuff in this new update. Bugfixes and cool stuff galore. Buuuut there are also some not-so-good changes, and the flood of new code seems to have broken... everything, at one point or another.

All right I have an interview at 2:45 PM on Thursday for a part time (roughly 18-20 hours per week on average) position as a substitute/extra staff member providing tutoring and other extracurricular enrichment activities at various schools in the Hollywood area. Found it from a flier at the NoHo library! This would be perfect for me so wish me luck!
