Happy Friday the 13th
Happy Friday the 13th
The siren blinked, hearing her name, and hurried up the steps after Sunset. “You got blood on your face.”
Excerpt from: The Spirit of Misfortune:
Bearing a mantle of misfortune,
our streets it stalks and hides,
it grunts and heaves exhaustion,
to the weight of bag-luck tied.
Its name forsaken long ago,
and all its tales forgotten,
and all its horrid tales it tow,
its humour doubly rotten.
Its coat lay laced in horseshoes,
a dual edge to relieve its soma,
and despite our lack of interviews,
we know its name is: Brona.
Wishing you a spirited Friday the 13th.
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it
Little Friday The 13th Reference There, lol.
Serious as cereal!
Today I'm finally 21!
And should feel like this...
But if we're being serious, I actually feel more like...
It's a mixture of emotions.
My sister and I made up.
I can see my nieces again, super awesome!
But dad's no longer here.
As instruments are brought to tune,
An ear I'd ask to lend,
to hear a verse o' geist of fortune,
and its friend.
Avoided are its path and so to is its wake,
its passage snuffs out candlelight,
so who would ever make,
an offer of respite?
A being so benevolent extending friendship's bond,
its eyes saw through the suffering veil,
and while the geist its friend was fond,
misfortune did entail.
Despite the stay of respite lasting night and day,
I don't think any of this information is going to be at all spoilery for anything of any importance, but so you know, this post consists of information about Whittaker's upcoming series of Doctor Who, provided by the actors and Chris Chibnall. If you don't want to know anything about it, don't read this post.
Okay, are they all gone? Good. Everyone else, let's go.
The companions are named Yasmin Khan, Ryan Sinclair, and Graham O'Brien. Sharon D. Clarke will be playing Graham's wife.
But before I tell you about Monday, let me tell you about Friday. Which, you might remember, was the 13th. And the moon was full-ish.
Y’all know what to do.
Ooo, spooky day Spooky day indeed~
Friday the 13th in October of all months, can't you all just feel your coat crawl and mane stand on end?
does it make you want to toss salt to wind, break a mirror, step on cracks and throw caution to the wind?
Or maybe that is just me, as a fanatic of Fridays.
Sadly there was not a bad luck pony to write a story about today, perhaps another time.
Is it just me or do movies and properties that don't know if they're going to be any good try to lure you in with peripheral stuff? I mean seriously, how many times have we seen this over the years? From the writer of... is usually a tip off that you're in trouble. Or what about when they put the director or writers name at the beginning? Ladies and gentlemen get ready to scream for "John Carpenter's Roman Fanny Pack," or "Stephen King's Old People in Maine."
Especially since I feel the halloween spirit in the air so early. Helps that I've been on a roll with Elements on perhaps the darkest part of the story, released a new story about a costumed superhero, and am also working on a new Apparition Amphitheater (which will release chapter by chapter at the end of the month).
This isn't even going into the gaming front, where I'm diving deeeeeeeeep into quite a few games that get me into the mood, like:
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (PS4)
