Empress Theresa: Chapter Nine Analysis · 8:18pm Apr 17th, 2023
We're getting two chapters in one day because the last chapter was so damn pointless.

What a way to open a chapter that we have here! Theresa is being heaped with praise and love and admiration for her plan to create rain around the world. This strikes me personally as very strange, because the last time this happened a drunk from the slums and his family had to build an enormous ark, take two of every animal and ride out the flood without dying of starvation, dehydration, incest, unhygienic conditions, or just plain boredom. You’d think that a devout Catholic like Boutin would

Disclaimer: I’m only gonna be covering the most important/present characters in this fic since it has a lot of characters
Spike: I like him but I’m really gonna need him to show me more in future chapter because I don’t feel I have a ton to go off of. But his characterization and sympathy make me interested in what could happen next for him as a protagonist.

As the title of this article indicates, I will try to summarize here the main arguments of the long review of Fallout: Equestria that I wrote and that you will find in a link in this article. This summary is not meant to elaborate in detail on the different aspects mentioned in the critique but simply to provide an overview so that people who do not have the time to read the critique in its entirety can have access to my thoughts.
So let's start.
A lot of people in the fandom don't understand who I am and think of me as a bad person. My friend sometimes does, too, and doesn't trust me anymore because of that. There have been moments when she literally asked me "Who are you?". I was always thinking this was stemming from trust issues that she developed because of events in her past and I was only marginally attributing the cause for this question to myself. Now I know better. I was much more the cause for this question than I always

Grrrrrrrrrrrrreetings everypony, and welcome back to Deconstruction is Magic, my Retrospective/Review/Analysis of every episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic ever. Today, we have the official debut of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and it all starts with Applebloom. It's Call of the Cutie! Without wasting any more time, let's get on with the analysis! I am the Mage of Mind, reminding you, as always, that even a cheeseburger can be
For a while now, something very obvious has seemed to escape the Brony Analysis Community, and it seems to have come to a head with this latest season finale. Toon Krytic Y2K was salty because Starlight Glimmer wasn't punished, and Silver Quill was a bit put out by the Mane Six being so critical to Equestria. He was annoyed by the ego that Twilight had about her friends being so important. Heck, Twilight didn't even realize why she and her friends were so important. Well the answer may
Taking a page from Bad Horse's last few blog entries, I thought I'd chip in a little bit.
WARNING: The following blog post contains spoilers. If you have not yet watched this episode, you might want to do so before you read this post. Though seriously, it has been a week; what have you been doing?
I forgot to post this last week, so I am posting it now immediately prior to my Episode 4 analysis. This contains spoilers for episode 3 but, it has been a week, man; what are you doing?
I'll let the big-name people do the actual analyses of this episode. I'll just point things out and hope I get some discussion. It was fun for Griffonstone, hopefully it will be fun here, too.
Like world-building, for example. Not only did Griffons get another drop in the bucket for Best Species with their awesome tiger-striped and hawk-beaked delegate:
But we saw more pony designs, like this mare:
I am hilariously late to the party on this, but I wanted to speak up because I watched the two season openers today and my main takeaway was how damn much they gave us to discuss.
Seriously, this was a pair of episodes just dripping with implications around the edges. I'll jog through the list after the break.

Yesterday, I posted an essay about Summer Sun Setback, the princesses, and the fact that the end of the show is neigh. There are, however, a few more thoughts on the episode that I wanted to share that don't quite fit into that box.
The theme of Summer Sun Setback was growth - moving on, and the story reinforces that theme in a lot of little ways in 22 minutes.
