Op-Ed: Fixing One Small Part of Star Wars: The Last Jedi · 2:03am Jun 28th, 2018
And with that title, I already feel the eyes of the internet upon me. Which is kind of the point. I wouldn’t be posting this otherwise.

...I have made my decision.
No more consoles. No more new games. No more upgrading my PC.
I'm going to play what games and platforms I've got and run them into the ground, while I save up for some very significant purchases to upgrade my photography kit.
I saw some terrific analysis in this one. Back when the original SW films came out, there were parents who actually encouraged the younger audiences to see the films or other ancillary material that the parents grew up with.
Yeah, Ring's been up for 24 hours and I'm seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens tonight, PLUS it's a holiday, so we can't make our deadline today. We'll have a shorter story to compensate tomorrow.
Also happy New Year or some such thing.
Awesome, I have this weekend off, just in time for the Battlefront beta.
I'm just wondering how to approach it this time.
On one hand, we had Battlefield 4, which had a super-smooth beta, but one of the most bumpy launches of this generation, so much that games like Battlefront were put on hold while BF4 was fixed.
Heyo!
So as some of you might know, the new game known as Fallen order is finally released here the 15th of November!
And I want to have time to enjoy it, which means next weekend I won't be writing or releasing chapters. So I wanted to celebrate this new game and give a little extra in the upcoming chapter so you don't feel like there was no update.
I had a great idea about a star wars and mass effect crossover. But I'm stuck. I have two possible options,
1. Jedi in Mass Effect.
2. Commander Shepard in Star Wars, Clone Wars or original trilogy.
To be honest, I want to write both. I can see great potential in them both. Tell me your opinion.
"Hello, Master. It's been a while."
For those who want to see me get my arse handed to me:
Ahmed Best is known for providing the motion capture and voice of Jar Jar Binks and considering the extreme toxicity of the Star Wars fandom, he received a lot of hate and went through experiences of bullying and harassment for portraying a character who is universally hated in the franchise and in the history of film.
What's the first thing Dark Magic/Force Side users do when they ride into town? Stop for lunch apparently, though Nyx has more than food on her mind when she spots a well-known, fair-haired local. Is King Sombra irritated her dark eyes are wandering? You'd be very surprised at the answer!
Scheduling this for a Saturday (tomorrow) release. Here's your preview:
Getting seriously excited for seeing Rogue One. I think it's going to be perfect.
You know why? Because even the negative reviews are making me eager to see it. Some of these older reviewers need to seriously consider retirement, good lord.
So, I was reading the TVTropes page for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and when I went to the trivia section, I found out that, in the Mexican dub, Captain Phasma is voiced by the same person as Princess Celestia. Then, to top that off, I found out that the German dub has Rey being voiced by the same person as Trixie.
Just... wow.
So, last year in March, I wrote that I was okay with seeing characters that I don’t sympathize with get redeemed. I was mainly talking about Starlight Glimmer, but in the process of giving my reasons for supporting the redemption of unsympathetic characters, I ended up comparing her to Kylo Ren from the newer Star Wars trilogy movies. You see, I had written that if Kylo didn’t get redeemed, then his father would have died for nothing.
It makes me so fucking happy that prequel memes are a thing.
The Last Jedi approaches, and I am in full Star Wars mode right now. Like, maybe enough to write a fic. Would you guys like to see a Star Wars/MLP crossover? Or failing that, a standalone Star Wars fic? (Obviously, if it's just SW, I won't post it here, but I'll link you guys, if you're interested.)
Director's Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), have been tapped to direct an upcoming Han Solo centric spinoff film that will be set before the events of A New Hope.
There is only one musical reaction approprate:
REJOICE
Chapters done, it's being edited, it'll be posted when i wake up ima go die now.
I haven't been able to put out more than two chapters in the last year for these stories. I can't muster the willpower or enthusiasm to write for them, and it's better to be done with them rather than have them linger in the back of my mind, taunting me with their incomplete status.
As of now, they are Cancelled stories.
