Last week's madness is all set. Something something darkness.
Picture the scene: it’s spring. Not just kind-of spring, we’re not talking a day or two after the equinox, we’re a full month on and flowers are blooming and we’re going to see Hamilton in Chicago.
Sweetsong slept through Marias Pass, and missed the giant obelisk. She also missed Horse Mountain . . .
Still, she can always come back later and see it in the day. There’s always a train to take her near where she wants to go.
Hey, it's been over a year since I wrote a con blog post.
Well, not if you count the very late SeaquestriaFest blog post.
So let's talk about Ponyville Ciderfest while it's still fresh in my mind.
My last blog post, we talked about some railroad slang. Like, you don’t go to dinner, you go for beans. Pull out a drawbar, you pulled a lung; if you get the draft timbers, too, you got the secret works. Heaven help you if you go in the ditch.
A mare can’t stay in one place for too long . . . Chicago has plenty of opportunities, but the open rails are calling.

Hooboy. Another crossover riff done. For now, at least.
You want a break from crossovers? I know we've been bombarding y'all with them for the last few weeks. Well, let's move away from crossovers for a bit and do ANOTHER CROSSOVER!
...wait.
I had a lot of free time these last two weeks. Took some time off from real world concerns to spend time with pony friends. To celebrate a particular 13th anniversary. To plan for the year ahead, and all the exciting turns pony might take me next.
UI elements are the fundamental components of any user interface and are required for any interactive program or website. They are often simple components that allow users to connect with a system, delivering feedback and allowing the user to interact meaningfully with the system. UI components may take numerous shapes, ranging from buttons to drop-down menus and beyond, and they are frequently employed to provide a visual language for the user to assist them to navigate the system. Due to recent events, my release schedule will change a bit for this week. Instead of writing a new chapter for "Dreamwalker Dash" and "Letters to Cozy Glow", I will start a new project this week and will focus on that until Sunday.
Last week is all tidied up. We gave it some extra time, in part due to the shorter length of this week's thing (and partly because last week's wasn't quite good to go the day of).
One more tunnel, this one short, and then an open expanse of saltwater! Is it the Pacific?
Sadly not, but it’s close to the Pacific. Sweetsong’s nearly reached the ocean.
Special thanks to AlwaysDressesInStyle for pre-reading!
And we have arrived at the next major destination. The 200th time (not counting the movie) that Equestria flickered over our TV and computer screens! It's great that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic reached this milestone but, at the same time, I get saddened by it that it's also the last milestone and that the end is so near.
But it's still an awesome episode, so I want to try to remain positive here.
I got a message from someone asking me if I need help with writing "Dreamwalker Dash". They seem to fear that I have abandoned the story, so I'm clarifying that here:
"Dreamwalker Dash" is NOT dead.
I kept trucking along at the revision yesterday. I had to stop rather soon, because after a day of intense revising, my mind didn't really manage to stay focused anymore. Since I can't afford that the revision fails, I decided to stop after revising after about one fifth of Chapter 3.
This was a shaky week. I wasn't sure when this chapter will be ready, hence why there was no blog entry so far, but now it's done. Chapter 14 of "Dreamwalker Dash" is finished, coming with a pivotal point in the story, and will release tonight! Check your bookshelves and feeds at 10:00 PM EST!
So, I had a specific idea for this chapter in mind. But then, a sudden inspiration struck me and now this idea has been replaced by a different idea. One that will allow me to bring more depth into the story. The only downside is that this particular idea will also cause the release of the chapter to shift. As I wasn't fully familiar with the topic of my new idea, I had to do a bit of research and read a lot, which took up a good amount of writing time.
And here we are..... Fillies and gentlecolts, I present to you, my first fic for Season 9:
