So, just so you guys know, because of how hard it is for me to put out a reading of What I've Become on YouTube (I'm working on it, I just hate editing audio files with a passion, so it's taking me a while), I've been publishing some of the chapters of the story on the HFY! subbreddit in the hopes that I could get more people to read my story.

It's been a LONG time. I'm still very much in the fandom, but writing... Well as my last thousand blog posts have profusely apologized about, I'm not huge on writing MLP stories anymore. Now don't get me wrong- every now and then I get into a writing mood and do some stuff, but it's pretty rare since I'm more of a visual artist than anything, and most of the stuff I wrote on here is... Hard for my older self to read. (I was really cringey dear god)

Hello, my lovely readers. I just wanted to extend an apology for the delay in publishing of the next chapter of Star Trek: Phoenix, as health, as always, has been an issue in its delay. That said, the chapter is finished, we're just going through some final editing, and we hope to be done within the next couple of days. We may move back to Mondays for the posting date, so that SDR2 and Phoenix don't share the same day for posting.

Well... I was close to finishing chapter seven... then realized it was terrible. Now I'm down from 12k words (which was about 70% completion for the chapter) to 3k. The massive scrap wasn't because I'm a perfectionist or anything (Payday 2 killed that part of me long ago), but because I genuinely didn't think the direction I took the chapter was good.
I think my struggle to write is due to both a lack of alcohol, and a dispassionate association with life at the moment.

_____Ugh, I have been neglecting my readers and my stories in equal measure and it needs to stop. Life is tough, there's no denying that, but if I want to write for a living, I need to learn to overcome my writer's block, my bad moods, and life's overall bull-shittery, and keep writing regardless of what's happening in my life.
