Apologies for Delay - Phoenix Update · 10:53pm Jan 21st, 2023
Hello, my lovely readers. I just wanted to extend an apology for the delay in publishing of the next chapter of Star Trek: Phoenix, as health, as always, has been an issue in its delay. That said, the chapter is finished, we're just going through some final editing, and we hope to be done within the next couple of days. We may move back to Mondays for the posting date, so that SDR2 and Phoenix don't share the same day for posting.
I also wanted to let everyone know I'm thrilled with the reception on its return, and I thank you all again for your patience and kindness. As I'm able I will start trying to build up a proper buffer so we don't have this happen again, but time will tell.

I'm no stranger to the perils of last minute changes - albeit for another fandom - so cheers for the transparency and update! Take as long as you need to be happy with the final version. We'll all still be here!

We've been waiting for a long time, and was don't mind it if your stories need more time to become better.
Figured it might have been something like that as we got closer to the three week mark, given you mentioned your health issues in the last AN- that, the chapter wasn't coming together as quickly as you'd have liked, or you were distracted with another story or something, perhaps work.
We will be waiting...this story and you are worth it

Editor here. Thanks to all for your patience. Some of the delay was due to some health and job related things on my end as well. (new job + sinus infection = lolchaos)
But things should calm down for me, I hope.
take your time and do it will you are comfortable. this is your hobby after all.
