Added in a missing detail to the first chapter, began work on third chapter. The third chapter also addresses a minor plot hole pointed out by commenters in Pony-Me, replacing the food that Lisa eats after waking with something that'd be more digestible to someone who hasn't eaten solid food in years.

Chapter 2 is currently ongoing revision after an awkwardly-written (and unnecessary) dream sequence. I've temporarily removed it from the chapter, and I'll likely do some major rewriting tonight.

While it's still not entirely finished yet, I'm currently on the second draft of both currently-existing chapters.

I'm nearing the end of my list of Pony-Me chapter names, even though I'm hardly close to finishing the story.

Suggestions, anyone?

Marked the draft numbers for the existing chapters.
Officially began diverging from the existing Pony-Me canon.
Early dream sequence added to hint towards future events.
Added an Easter Egg referencing a particularly memorable line I saw in a textbook on radio communications.
Changed the personality of the Heavy-Coated Man to be more of a memorable character for the sake of future appearances in the story.
Added an light accent to go with the guy.

Hey, y'all familiar with Porter Robinson's Shelter?

Yeah. Somehow, it didn't occur to me until just today while listening to it on loop that the music video and Pony-Me have... very similar tropes.

If you haven't seen the music video, here it is.

Geez, I gotta figure out more ways to ramp up my originality game then.

I certainly want to keep all rights to my own story, which means that I'll practically be ruling out every major publishing house there is.

I guess I'll self-publish, then. I can handle writing and editing myself, I can join some reviewing groups to get the thing proofread, maybe stir up some hype with Kickstarter and some marketing muscle, and partner up with a printing company to get the thing rolling into stores.

Revised and partially rewrote the first chapter, and began work on the second chapter.
Starting from the second chapter, additional plot elements not present in Pony-Me have been added for additional realism concerning the effects of the transition between an extended session of virtual reality and real life.
