My Own Reality:
Didn't work on My Own Reality for tonight.
Pony-Me/Pony-Me: Outtakes:
Working on another character development chapter centering on Lisa and Samantha. While canon, this takes place long before the events of Pony-Me and My Own Reality, so it'll be posted under Outtakes.
Random:
I've been binge-watching Black Mirror on Netflix for a few hours now. Yes, yes, I know I said that I was trying to avoid watching or reading sci-fi to keep away from stealing ideas, but I haven't touched my Netflix account in a couple months now, and I've got a pretty solid base at this point for my stories.
So... I guess I'll get back into sci-fi shows and books then?
I honestly don't know. It's almost 2 AM and I'm still a bit salty about the fact that I sacrificed the ability to work on my usual summer PC projects to let my sister work on a webtoon. For some reason or another, Paint Tool SAI only installs on my main computer. And my laptop from third grade. Don't ask why it doesn't install on a perfectly capable workstation PC that I've been using as my secondary main.
Lol. Also go ahead and get into sci fi. Maybe you can even make your story more original by knowing what's been done

Perhaps.

Their is no perhaps, their Is only wisdom from knowledge

And at the moment, there is only sleep that awaits for me at this dark 2 AM hour.
Anyways, the biggest problem I can see with getting back into scifi films and books is the lack of time I typically have in my schedule. Usually, if I'm gonna watch something, it instead starts eating into time I spend on writing and doing things in real life. Books are usually fine though since I can read them on and off.

Yeah I guess so. Prioritize Star Wars. Also it's 4 am here

Eh, I've watched a few movies before. I'm honestly not all that interested in Star Wars.
And before you ask, no, I'm not into Star Trek either.
Much of my taste for sci-fi focuses less on space travel/exploration/whatever and more on upcoming technology like virtual reality and artificial intelligence, hence why that's what Pony-Me focuses on.

Star Wars is still a classic though. Also matrix is another. You'll find how different yours is and what to steer clear of from that.
I don't think it's that bad if your just inspired by things from other sci-fi
