Near the end of March 2011, Equestria Daily announced an April Fools' Day short story contest. I was well into Half the Day is Night by then, but I thought I'd put together a little something about Fluttershy's first attempt at an April Fools' Day joke.

The story didn't advance past the first round in the contest--it was in the same bracket as the eventual winner, actually--but I still enjoy it.

A brief one-shot written in the same vein as Two and Two and Two. Twilight discovers that Pinkie's strangeness seemingly knows no bounds, and sometimes there's nothing wrong with that at all.

When Pinkie Pie misses Twilight's Hearth's Warming party to investigate her twitchy tail, Twilight ignores every one of her own defense mechanisms and investigates with her.

After a long day of working at Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie eagerly awaits closing time so she can spend some time with her new marefriend Rainbow Dash. Who has been grounded lately due to a wing injury. Unfortunately, when the pegasus arrives she's not her usual, confident self. So Pinkie does what she does best, she sets out to make her marefriend smile again.
