Twilight Sparkle was annoyed to say the least, when her mentor Princess Celestia dismissed her warning of the Mare in the Moon and assigned her to go to Ponyville to supervise the Summer Sun Celebration. 'Make some friends' she says.

The thing is, Twilight already had friends. Friends she's had ever since she got into Celestia's school for gifted unicorns, friends she's taken for granted for many years, friends who she just happens to bump into before leaving Canterlot and invite themselves along to the celebration.

Between the crazy ponies in this little town and the crazy ponies who call themselves her friends, she finds herself at her wit's end while being constantly sidetracked in trying to prepare for the fabled Nightmare Moon's return. After all, it's not like these old schoolmates of hers are going to be able to help prevent eternal night and the end of Equestria as they know it, right?

Maretropolis, a city under siege. Villains roam the streets and crime penetrates even the most protected sectors.

The only line of defense are a small band of heroes called the Power Ponies. But investigating a strange distubance, they come across a strange group calling themselves the Loonatics. Wielding powers unlike anything seen before, the Power Ponies must learn to work with these strangers as two ancient foes threatens to destroy both the city they love... and the world the Loonatics came from....

While he and Kamen Rider Shinobi were fighting off ninja dusters, Hattari was somehow warped to the land of Equestria. Spitfire vows to become stronger, even if she breaks herself in the process. Misty Fly, however, suggests she should be more reasonable and believe in herself. Unfortunately, some of Spitfire's old wounds may need to be opened in order to solve this.

Rarity has a problem.

She thought she could take a simple break to take her mind off of things, if only it could have worked. Not even her friends can help her out, so a quick break with a smoothie in the mall...did not help at all.

That was until she happened to view an infomercial that gave her an idea for her situation that needs imagination.
