It (was) my Birthday!

'allo Fimfic, yesterday was Homestuck Day! Happy Homestuck Day to all the Vriska Stans in the audience!

But also; it was my birthday.

I would have posted yesterday, but I've been in a daze for the last two days because yesterday was also the day I got my second vaccination shot.

Aside from that my life is the usual levels of hellish nightmare nonsense. Doing double shifts because the car repairman can't tell his ass from his elbow. Broken air conditioner with Louisiana spring first summer swift approaching. Several days in a row of almost hurricane force lightning storms for Reasons. Toxic demon toilets releasing war crimes and melting metal.

(as a fun aside: using chlorine tablets to keep toilets clean is a scam. The resulting mixture corrodes metal and plastic. If you flush regularly, the damage will build slow enough you won't notice, but, say, if a toilet is left unflushed for a week or two... let's just say melted and cloud of toxic fumes are words I might use to describe the experience)

Also, this vaccine isn't the worst, but it isn't the best. But yay, going to Walmart won't kill me or my family, now!

And... yeah, I haven't been visibly active here much going on over a year now, and that sucks. Still though, I love you all.

So... happy birthday to the lot of you.
