...It's actually 25 hours but whatever, who's counting? Certainly not me. I'd never do that. Math is for nerds.
We've had a ton of entries over the past few days and good h*cking gosh lemme tell you, judging the best is gonna be hard cuz these are all so good like for real you should all go read them you have no idea.
For any last-day submitters, remember to add your story to the contest group, and message Lord Camembert about which charity you want $20 to go to in your name 🙏. When the contest closes at 11:59 PM PDT tomorrow, the judging panel will take stock of how many submissions we have and I'll let you all know within a day when we'll be announcing the results.

Man I wish I could've joined. But we all have our styles of writing my mine is the slow burn. My first story is 33k words in and we still dont know the love interest but I have plans. Big sad.
The word limit was too small for me.
Curse my descriptive language and writing.
I never even planned to partake in this contest, nor did I ever think I'd be writing SunFlower, but I'm glad I did participate because I think I wrote something that pushed my boundaries.
