Shepherd was reading a book out in his backyard, when Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo poked their heads up over the fence.

Applebloom: "Howdy Shepherd!"

Shepherd: "Oh! Hey girls! Come on in!"

He really didn't get the hesitation or even fear ponies had for these three little tykes. They were cute and chaotic, but hey, that's what kids were! He let them in, and treated them to some lemonade. They happily slurped it down as they sat around him.

Shepherd: "So, what brings you by my place? Need help with another Cutie Mark Project?"

Sweetie Belle: "Maybe for our space exploration cutie mark attempt!"

Scootaloo: "We already tried that!"

Sweetie Belle: "We tried it with a catapult, not with a rocket! That's different!"

Applebloom: "Anyways! Hearts and Hooves Day is coming up, and we need yer help!"

Shepherd: "With what?"

Applebloom: "Well, we think you'd be the perfect Extra Special Somepony fer mah big sister!"

Scootaloo: "Wait, what?! We agreed we'd be getting him together with Rainbow Dash!"

Applebloom: "No way! Rainbow Dash ain't right fer him at all! All she does is crash in front of him and yell at him and call him names-!"

Scootaloo: "Nuh uh! That's flirting!"

Shepherd: "Um..."

Applebloom: "While mah sister likes him a lot!"

Scootaloo: "No she doesn't!"

Applebloom: "Uh huh! She always pays him more and invites him to dinner after and puts extra work into her apple pies fer 'im-!"

Scootaloo: "She makes apple pies for everypony! Dash really likes him! She wouldn't crash in front of him so much if she didn't!"

Applebloom: "That jest means she's clumsy!"

Scootaloo: *GASP!* "You take that back! She's not clumsy! And she'd be a way better Extra Special Somepony for Shepherd than your stupid sister!"

Applebloom: "MY SISTER AIN'T STUPID! YER STUPID!"

Scootaloo: "NO YOU ARE!"

Applebloom: "YOU ARE!"

The fillies begin to angrily bicker, and Shepherd rolls his eyes. He looks at Sweetie Belle.

Shepherd: "You don't want me to date your big sister, right Sweetie?"

Sweetie Belle: "Well... I mean, she'd probably be happier-"

Shepherd: "Spike's a prince. He'll grow up."

Sweetie Belle: "Ooh! She'll like that! So nope!"

Shepherd: "Good. Let's have cookies. Inside."

Sweetie Belle: "Yay cookies!"
