Small Snippet For Next MFL Chapter!

"You'll wait here and be grateful that I find no cause for you to have an accident creature," she said, sneering.

I didn't know if it was instinct or a mixture of my newfound magic or...or something else.

    Mated For Life RETURNS!

    Finally, fucking finally!

I've finally managed to find the time to re-read the entire story up until The Abandoned chapter.

As such I now have both the information, feel and motivation to continue the epic tale of Richard and Chrissy.

    Here's a small sneak-preview -

"What in the hell is going on here?" I asked, eyes wide as I took in the frankly terrible sight.

We Can Save Them (Mated For Life) · 10:00pm Jun 29th, 2020

"I haven't been able to stop thinking about them," Fleetfoot said, pacing back and forth much to Chrissy's amusement. "Ever since I changed and realized the truth." She stopped and looked at Chrissy, frowning ever so slightly. "My Queen...the change, can it rid the one changed of a disease or illness?"

Chrissy's eyes widened in surprise. "Well, yes it can." She frowned lightly and pursed her lips. "But the change isn't exactly a pleasant experience as you well know. Truth be told, until Celestia informed us of your intrusion, I had completely forgotten about the hives power to do so."

She shook her head. "Regardless, the change is ruthless in removing all that made you...well, you. Bar memories and personality, it completely eradicates everything. There's no turning back, the one changed is a Changeling...a subject for life. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy."

Fleetfoot smiled and nodded, adding to Chrissy's ever growing surprise. "Good."

"Good?"

Fleetfoot smiled and nodded towards Pearl, who was looking at her strangely. "He knows what it's like to live with nothing. Both he and Ruby lived in squalor until he joined the guard and secured a place to live."

"Fleety, that's private," Pearl snapped, a light flush on his face.

Fleetfoot's ears lowered and she pawed the ground nervously, her voice soft. "I know love. But they need to understand where I'm coming from. The Ponies that the nobility cast aside, forgotten about and left to die in filth...we can save them."

Pearl sighed and shook his head, holding up a hoof for her to look at. "They won't listen to a couple of Changelings, Fleet. Look at us."

"But they will listen to one who knows what it's like," she replied, smiling encouragingly at him. "And you do. You lived it, you told me all about it, about your struggles and how...how hopeless it all felt. I'm sorry I'm speaking about this in front of our King and Queen, but this could really work!"

"Let me get this straight," I interrupted, catching her flinch as she looked at me, a wave of nervous emotion flowing from her. "You want to organise some sort of meeting with Canterlot's...poor and sick?"

"Yes," She nodded.

"You want us to talk to them, offer them a chance to join our hive and change who they are in an excruciatingly painful process?"

My tone evidently showed my reluctance, and if nothing else, I knew she could feel it. Her eyes closed and her ears lowered, a soft silence following for a drawn out moment.

"They have children," she said quietly, her eyes brimming with tears as she looked at me. "I used to visit them, not all of them...but enough."

She turned to Chrissy and continued, her eyes imploring us to listen. "They are starving, my Queen. Stallion, mare and foal. The nobility cast them aside and the Princesses either don't know or don't care. This...ever since I changed I've thought of nothing else. Our hive is empty and waiting to be filled. If we can offer them the choice...just the choice to have a better life..."

She began to choke up and stopped talking, her eyes catching Pearl who showed no hesitation in rushing over to comfort her.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, looking at us. "I just...I just care."

Chrissy looked at me and I her, partaking in a silent conversation.

Should we?

If the result is so much better objectively and the decision rests with the individual, there's literally no reason not to.

No, be needlessly cruel! Sate my bloodlust!

As Palpatine put it

Do it.

Eh, I say go for it. They need Ling power. Who knows how long Celestia is willing to play ball.

The hive must grow. The hive must flourish. The hive must offer medical and dental...and retirement, of course.

THE HIVE MUST SURVIVE.

#HYPE
If I'm being honest though.... it is a good idea. The worst that could happen is they just regret the decision. The best is they live a happy and rejuvenated life.

It has a good pension scheme :trollestia:

Oh and just to put this out there...

There are HUNDREDS of Ponies scattered about Canterlot living in poverty.

5297524
I'm surprised there is a stallion being allowed to live in poverty, considering the steady decline of ponykind, yet it makes twisted sense.

Politics. Politics never change.

5297525
Politics suck.

5297526
Politics suck, but Celestia blows.

Amusing. I'd go so far as to say that it was very punny of you. :trollestia:

Read this and couldn't help but think: "We can rebuild them. We have the technology."

Well, well, well.

Is there another conflict I see? Yes it is!

I wonder what would be Celestia stance. Maybe:
"The changelings want to kidnap MY ponies? Changelings FORCE this disgusting transformation? HERESY! What? Ponies are wanting this? LIES! So what if I and my nobles spit on lesser ponies and force them to live in poverty and disease? They are still better as PONIES, not as FILTHY BUGS!"

Why yes, amuse us with a new conflict. Take everything from Celestia. Firstly human and his seed, secondly her tool she call sister, next ponies, and maybe expose truth to Twilight?

As much as I hate to admit it, this reflects our world pretty well, those in power not careing about those on the bottom, yet claim they do, and act like they have the moral high ground.

"Well, yes it can."

Wait, if transformation acts as a cure, can it solve the ponies' infertility problem?

5297971
Yup, though they'd only give birth to more Changelings.

5297987
Turning entire Equestria into changelings? Fine by me.

5298006
Not the entire.

The poverty stricken in Canterlot range to around a few hundred. The entire population of Canterlot is about 1400-1700. The city is bigger then its cartoon variation, much bigger.

Some lead good lives but are not Nobility.

If they were to follow through with Fleet's idea and it worked perfectly (It's my story, when does shit ever go perfectly?), then a few hundred would join the hive, be cured on infertility and...well, you'd have to wait and see.
