Hello Everyone!
The latest contest we have to share with you is already open, No Author Left Unnoticed's Holiday-Themed Long Form Writing Competition! Below is a brief summary with a link to the full contest info. If you have a contest or event of your own you think may qualify for a social site post like this, you can find the criteria here.
Seasons Greetings! We at No Author Left Unnoticed are currently running our Holiday-Themed Long Form Writing Competition, and we encourage any and all who wish to participate. This is our second writing contest, and we hope to help promote many a great author through it this month.
The Winner of the Holiday-Themed Long Form Writing Competition will win a stickied thread in our forum to advertise their glory and brilliance, the admiration of the admin team, and the hatred and bitter, salty tears of their defeated competitors. Like our first competition, there will be praise for second and third place as well as for any runners up who deserve the recognition.
Stories that fall short of the 10k word mark, but still rise above (over very, very near) 7k will still be considered for our Short-Story Category. The winning prize for Short Stories is much the same as the Long Form… just less admin admiration and bitter, salty tears from everyone else.
For a full breakdown of our competition rules, please see the announcement thread in our group forum.
Rules
- Theme: Holidays – The story must be based around a Holiday, whether real-world or MLP-based (Christmas, Hearth’s Warming, Nightmare Night, Easter, etc).
- Word Count – Between 10k and 30k words. If the story is between 7k and 10k words, it will be allowed in a separate category.

Prizes
- 1st Place – Glory, the adulation of the masses, a sticky thread to advertise your accomplishment, the unending fury and envy of your defeated foes.
- 2nd/3rd Place – Your name in lights, and a short review by the Admins.
- Runners-Up– The satisfaction of a job well-done.
Schedule
- Stories must be published to FimFiction no later than 12:01 on January 1st, 2020. If your story might miss the deadline due to awaiting approval, PM one of the Admins so we can count you.

12:01 in which timezone?
For Equestrian holidays, do they have to be mentioned in canon, or can we create new ones?
Alas, I haven't time for this one. Which is a shame; those tears are darn tasty.

Thanks! I'll see if I can do something, but this is very short notice during a time of year that's already very busy.
