4901879 It's very clearly a paper calendar, hanging on the wall, with an illustration on the top page and a calendar on the bottom page. Everything else you typed there is absolute nonsense predicated on nothing.
4901946 um, that was a joke: there's far too much distance between Sci-Twi's house and Sunset's apartment for the two to be interconnected by any sort of tunnel, let alone a rollcoaster...though I DO believe that the latter might have a safe somewhere in her living space
4901987 (shrugs) I figured that the fact that I used an "Emperor's New Groove" clip might have implied things as such, though I WILL admit that I could have worded things a bit differently...

Plus, your comment had such an extreme level of nerdsplaining to it that it read as something you genuinely thought/believed. Nobody in their right mind does that much nerdsplaining for an offhand joke.
...are you SURE about that "nobody"? and before you say anything about how that scene was relevant to the plot, I'd like to think that the Monty Python series has proven on occassion that a scene CAN be humorous AND (somewhat) relevant to the overall story and/or educational; in fact, here's a couple examples: (skip to 4:07 for relevant part):
Awaken!
Edit: Oh yeah, seizure warning.
*Mushu voice* I LIVE!!!!
She's a maniac! Maniac!
Am I the only one who is curious about how her calendar only has twelve days per month?
Invisible Drakey.

But Spike is a dog in the human world.

....zing
Nope. Still perfect.

AND Invisible Moth.
4901803
She can't afford the other 18?
4901829
Maybe there IS no other 18 in that world. O.o
*Yawn* Damn, Flash really rocked my world last night. Guess I should get some breakfast started.

actually, given that Sci-Twi has her own laboratory, I think it's entirely possible that the "calendar" we're seeing might be a keypad, much like THIS:
mallinson-electrical.com/media/wysiwyg/KeyPadImage.jpg
...or THIS:
storm-interface.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/1/3/130207-prod-ft5000-metal-h-with-lcd.jpg
why would she need this keypad if TWILIGHT owns the laboratory? well the answer is two-fold: first off, Sunset is a bit of a scientist herself, as seen in a certain short, so it's not out of the question that the two of them would occasionally work together; as for why she'd have have the keypad THERE and not at the residence of Twilight Sparkle, I'd honestly have trouble putting that into words...so here's a video clip:
"I know Twilight's excited about her teleportation experiments, but it'd be nice if she stayed for breakfast."
Majestic as fck.

Literally nothing in your comment suggested it was a joke.

That is a REALLY good theory!
