Hey there. It's been a while. I wouldn't be surprised if most of you have forgotten I even exist at this point to be honest. Despite several blog posts with titles pertaining to my miraculous comeback, I haven't really been active on this site since late 2015, not properly.
Three years. Man, I don't even recognise the person I was then.
This time is a bit different to previous resurrection attempts. Firstly, it isn't some hamfisted attempt to be better at keeping up with the community, but rather a genuine rekindling of my interest in MLP and it's fanfiction community; a rekindling that has been ongoing for a couple of months now. I've reprioritised, reorganised, and graduated university, and old haunts are calling me back.
It's a bit weird coming back to Fimfic after so long. A few names that were just starting out when I left have become (figuratively) household names, and others have faded to obscurity. But while I've certainly found a fresh love for the show, it's characters, it's world, and the stories they can tell, I haven't yet attempted to re-engage with the community itself on any level.
So I guess this is me doing that. No grand promises, but after about 2 and a half months of reasonably regular visiting, I think I can safely say that I am, in fact, back. And depending on my writing speed, I should have a story out in a couple of weeks or so.
Fingers crossed, of course.
