So remember I got banned by Black Kyrum a few weeks ago?
Well, I was browing his page to see if he unblocked me
And then I saw this shitpost.
For those living in America, you've probably heard the recent news of the attack in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Ku Klux Klan held a rally, there were peaceful protestors, and then someone went mad and drove a vehicle and slammed the protestors, committing manslaughter and terrorism. Three were killed and 19 or more were injured.
I understand that most of you do not like me bringing politics and such to the forums on this site, but this is not politics. This is terrorism on American soil, and not committed by ISIS, the Taliban, or al Qaeda. This was terrorism and manslaughter committed by an American. So in the same way bronies tear each other apart, fellow Americans are killing each other left and right. This is why it's such a bad time to hate. And I mean hate in general. What we need to do as people, not crazy, rabid fans of a kids' show, is to come together, work together, and love together. America was founded on violence and could end in violence, making a fitting end, but how many of us really want that? This fandom and this site, and every user on this site - we need to put our differences aside, stop hating each other, get over our hate for each other, and start fresh if we have to.
I speak as a Christian to follow in the teachings of Jesus Christ, who taught us to love thy neighbor and never abandon people in need, and that we are all God's children created in His image, to do his wonders and carry on his work. Do we wipe each other out? Or make peace? If wiping each other out is what you all think we are destined to do, then so be it. It will show that as a species, we would not be fit for this Earth. And God knows if you just shrug this off because I'm the one who's saying it, but if you cast me down, you also cast down Christians and your fellow brothers and sisters because you have not learned to love. May God have mercy on your souls. Pass this on. Amen.

Being Christian myself (even though most of the rest of the Christian world doesn't believe that Mormons are Christian), I find this rather disturbing. We should accept others as they are, and not judge them by their appearance or their opinions.

From my own interactions with him (including talking to him in PM), Black Kyrum mostly just seems like a guy who has some problem with social interactions. He often asks for help in Depression groups I am part of because he makes enemies pretty quickly (due to his problem with social interaction/ inability to express his ideas clearly most of the time).
I personally can have sympathy for him, seeing as he is extremely socially awkward and it is hard for him to follow advice on staying out of drama/ creating drama. He has had a lot of trouble making friends since being on this site. He constantly apologizes, but then again he always seems to make similar mistakes. Which just leads to him being more depressed.
I've tried giving him some advice on interacting better with people, but I am not sure that it helped.
I hope that he can eventually learn how to properly articulate his ideas so he can stay out of these kinds of conflicts. :(

He has some really heartwarming stories that I liked. Like the one about Applebloom feeling depressed and running away from her home. It explores the themes of depression and suicide and it does such a great job covering those issues. So I know there has to be good in him but his personality and his rudeness towards others who have a different opinion from him is just so off putting that its hard for me to feel sympathy. Especially if he does this all the time and never changes.
This made me sick. I couldn’t even respond to this. It just felt wrong on so many levels.

I just personally can have sympathy for him, as I read a lot of his blogs, and often see his posts in the depression groups. He seems to have a lot of emotional issues which I hope he can address at some point. :(
I hope someone will come along who can give him advice he can follow. I've tried many times but it doesn't seem like I have the brand of advice that is really helping. Which makes me feel a little bad in some ways. :(

Well, if he does suffer from depression and other problems then I can relate to him a bit and have some sympathy. I also suffer from similar issues as well so it would be stupid of me to have no sympathy what so ever. However, him calling two of my friends evil and wishing one of my friends to suffer just for having a different view crosses the line and unless he apologizes I don't think I can ever forgive him for that.

I have a few different issues as well. I have depression, social anxiety, agoraphobia, PTSD, OCD, anemia...well, I have a bunch of physical, emotional, and mental disorders. ;P Somehow I've managed to make it this far in life though.

That sort of patronising hypocracy is one of the reasons why I left traditional Christianity.
It's easy to talk about the lessons that we can take from Christ's example; but a lot of Christians are very talented at pointing out where exceptions can be made.
I tried to reason with him, then he just RAGED at me and told me the same thing he told you: "I don't want to have to explain myself." I was thinking "You idiot! That PROVES that you have nothing to explain." So, I commented "#CowardsOnFimfic." His reply was one a coward would use. Then, he blocked me so I couldn't reply.
I am a Christian and I try to be a good one. I try not to judge, though we all do it. We do need to work together as a country, but we need someone who can unite us. How about Discord?

A lot of people leave a church or other religion for that same reason. My cousin left several churches over the way they treated her or her friends. I was lucky, I grew up with good people who supported us kids. My mother told me this story:
There were some parishioners at a church in town who wanted to get rid of the pastor because they said he "wasn't good for the youth". That Wednesday night, the teenagers all approached the altar en mass, bowed their heads and prayed aloud. "Oh, Jesus, we beg you that you let our pastor stay right here! We love him and we need him!"
