So we finally got all the test results back from the Lab.
Turns out dad's cancer is a more 'benign' ( if i dare use that term ) variant. They are going to start him on an intense treatment regime, starting wednesday, that should hopefully prove effective. They caught it relatively early, so the doctors are optimistic.
I'm sick to my stomach from worry and relief, and barely got a wink of sleep last night. All the mixed emotions make me wanna hurl. But overall I'm happy. because for the first time in weeks I'm letting myself dare to hope.
Hiatus will continue for a bit longer. But hopefully not too long.
Just wanted to keep you all in the loop.
Good to hear that thing's are looking up. Even a little bit of good news is great, when dealing with cancer.
Hang in there, and take your time.
You know, past couple of days I was grumbling to myself about finance issues, then I get reminders like this that readjust my perception of things.
Since I cannot do much (especially with a possible jury duty coming up), I'll be at least throwing well-wishes and prayers your way.

That's great news. Obviously, the cancer isn't great but at least it is not as serious as it could have been. Good luck, and I hope he will be okay. Best of luck.
Do the doctors know at least what kind of cancer it is and where its located? I wish your father well and that he will overcome this battle and to live a long life.
thank god they caught it early. Close friend of the family got diagnosed with cancer then a month later passed away. Hope all goes well.
