Ah, if only... · 10:10pm Aug 26th, 2020
If only we lived like a hundred or so years in the future, where mankind finally invented devices to record our thoughts straight onto a computer.
"But Aprion, you dastardly daydreaming villain, why do you wish this?" I hear you asking. I shall explain.
When I have a bad writing day, oftentime I find myself spending the better part of an evening staring at my PC screen, struggling to put thoughts into coherent stories for you to read. Only for nothing to come out of my hands the entire time. And then, when I eventually drag myself into bed, and spend the next hour tossing and turning, my soft-boiled brain FINALLY gets some good ideas for scenes and conversations and whatnot. But by then I barely have the energy to open my eyes. And of course, come morning all the details have been forgotten, leaving only the phantom of an idea behind.
So, wouldn't it be neat if you could just put a device on your head and it translates your surface thoughts directly into words to be recorded? It would not only save a ton of time and frustration, because on a good day I can think of ideas faster then I could ever type them out. But If I'm too spent to actually type anything I could jut record the ideas my sleepy brain comes up with for later use.
Mmm having some bad writer's block I see.... hopefully it will pass. I'm sure people don't mind waiting for ya stories
Edit: I still don't mind waiting this is one of my favorites
God I wish the same thing I would make writing essay so much easier because I have that same problem
Aint that a mood. Sweet Thoth, several of my writing projects would be done!
