Review #93 - I AM an Adult · 4:45am Apr 21st, 2017

Well then, time for this thing. Also, since horizon had the audacity to post a new story regarding 420, I might as well point you toward it. It is called "Special" Delivery.

Why, horizon, why? Do you have any idea how terrible that it? But it's also so amazing. Why'd you have to break my brain?

Twilight stalks and harasses a nine year old filly...but it's in the past, so it's totally legal.

Wow, that's a short description

Okay, so this one was truly interesting. I'm not sure what I was expecting when I went in, but I got my "money's" worth. That said, it is an alternate universe comedy fic. Yeah, I can see why the author put the sex tag on, but I don't think it's something I can describe. Eh, just look at the cover art and you'll know why. So, Twilight, I can totally see her doing this, especially after The Cutie Re-Mark aired. She is just the right amount of creepy, weird, and disturbing to make her hilarious. Rainbow Dash, well, I thought acted accordingly to her circumstances. R-to-the-a i n b o w-Dash is creeped out, a little scared, and witty. And then there's Starlight Glimmer, who is creepy in her own way, impatient, and attempts to be evil. I say attempts because she fails. Horribly. And now I complain a bit. This time about the last two speaking lines of the story. Those last two lines really killed it for me... the fic ends with Starlight, then it has the last two lines which pulled the, oh wait, she remembers everything bit. It did, however, do a wonderful job of making me smile the first three times, which is truly a great accomplishment considering how easily jokes get old.
Okay, I think I will actually do whatever the first person to find this requests of me. Provided it does not cost money.
And now for the greatest weakness. And that greatest weakness is... I'm not actually sure. I think I'll have to go with the entire final scene. It doesn't really add much to the plot nor the resolution, and probably should have been cut out. However, since this is more of a personal preference, I'll just point out those last two sentences again.
Guys, now that I know how to do this, I'm having way too much fun. Please send help.
Recommendation: Recommended for laughs. (This is the kind of story I laugh for. Well, that and Twilight Sparkle Is Vexed By Uranus. Wait...... what does it say about me that three of my five favorite comedies on this site are this type of story? Umm, I'll get back to you on that. So, this one gets a recommended because, as PresentPerfect said, "Well, I lol'd..." and LoganBerry put it, "I don't really like the final scene, but the rest is good...").

So, did you catch the secret?

No? Well then, I'll give you a hint if you but ask of me. Oh, and you have to comment here for the said secret to take place. Have fun!

Read between the lines, highlight the important parts.

My work here is done. :ajsmug:
I'm going to let someone else claim your prize though. Got a Search & Rescue callout in about six hours - I should be sleeping rn :(

I had to look back to remember why I didn't like that last scene, but yeah. Considering it's the sort of humour that isn't always my thing, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
