One competition.
The rules: Write a Spike shipping story, starting today. Update it every day for a full 7 months. Whoever misses an update first, loses. Winner gets accolades of praise. Losers have to write whatever story the winner chooses.
This is the competition B-25, YourNeighborhoodAlicorn and I have found ourselves in.
In light of that, expect a new Spike and Vinyl story coming tonight that will get updates every day. It'll be an episodic sequel of sorts to Heart Invasion, one that follows the many misadventures of Spike and Vinyl in their daily relationship life, that will also wrap up a few questions left unanswered.

Yeah right. Sorry, but assuming you're talking a chapter a day, that's about 210 chapters for a story, give or take (estimating for about 30 days for each month). You had my interest for a bit but the everyday updates is way more than I can handle.

3611168 We're taking a chapter from Shortskirtsandexplosion's book. But alas, it's more or less a fun exercise to get me and my friends out of a rut we've been in. Luckily, the chapters won't be very long, or I'd die, lol.

An update every day? That's sounds far too restricting. We all love our stories, but a deadline like that is just gonna make a rushed story, and I'm betting quality would suffer for that.
3611297 I've already wrote out a bunch of chapters for it. It'll be something that has to be read to understand. I can't promise it will be the best thing ever, but it won't be crap. I promise that.

Anyway, my next real story that I think everyone will want to read comes out on January 1st. Romance with Spike in a timetravel adventure. Gonna be exciting!

I already do a story that I can't stick to an update for. I don't need another one. Sorry, but I just don't think I could handle that.

well, at least you're "living" up to your username... but if this was for the writing experience, I would've advised to choose a character at random to ship him with for each of those seven months (and still updating daily chapters to those stories during their respective months)
