An accurate portrayal of my current excitement. Plus it's cute as hell. Love the Flutterbat. LOVE HER.

Seriously people, my birthday's not for another three months. what's with all the good stuff coming my way?

First off, how many of you know of Goombasa? Some of you may recall that he did a dramatic reading of Tyrant on his YouTube channel way back when.

Well he's back and wanting to do another of my stories. His target this time?

The Gentle Nights: Audience of One.

Holy crap, guys. That's gonna be a big project and I cannot wait to see it! I was thrilled when he asked to make one for Tyrant, but a dramatic reading of AoO? This is gonna be awesome. I dunno how long it's gonna take, but as soon as it comes out you can bet I'll be letting everyone know.

...

So awesome.

Next, a personal milestone of mine may about to come to fruition: AugieDog has recommended Frequency to the Canterlot Royal Library. Long have I awaited this and – while I refuse to get my hopes up – just the knowledge that I'm finally going to be looked at for consideration has me grinning. There aren't a lot of milestones I've had in my cavernous, cobweb-filled head, but this is a major one.

So awesome.

But wait, I'm not done! Here's the real reason that I've tagged Frequency for this blog post:

Grand_Moff_Pony was so taken with Frequency that he has requested permission to and is in the process of working on a "final chapter/epilogue" for the story, to be included in horizon's story collection Never The Final Word. That's right, one more chapter of Frequency, written by a fan. It's something akin to a fanfiction for a fanfiction, which – as I've said before – is the highest form of flattery next to outright plagiarism. I've already read the rough draft and it is great. GMP has all my blessings with this little project.

So if you want to get just one more moment with Vinyl and Flash, this is your opportunity. Rest assured I will be blogging about it when the story comes out.

So awesome.

Now if I can just get Becoming Them finished and edited before it's set to come out next week I can be truly satisfied with myself.

Would you please put that link in a 'source' line instead of mixed with the picture like that?

If you click it while browsing the feed, it activates the link instead of enlarging the picture and it is vastly annoying when your halfway through a couple of hundred notifications. :ajbemused:

This time I got lucky and it was more like halfway through ten, but still, please don't do that.
