Please let me start by saying that it has been a pleasure writing Memoirs of a Royal Guard and sharing it with all of you. It has been even more exciting to receive all of your comments, favorites, and other signs of approval. They make my day and motivate me to keep going. I have no doubt that without your kind support this story would not have gone on as long as it has!
To show my appreciation I wanted to give everyone an equal opportunity to have their OC added to the story's canon. As Memoirs has grown in popularity I have had an increase in cameo requests and I wanted to handle them all in a fair and transparent manner. I am also at a point in the story where I will need some OCs. There are three types of cameos I'm offering:
Princess Luna's House Guard Permanent Cameo
Following the events of "Into the Gryphon's Roost" the PLHG will need nine (9) guards and two (2) medic ponies. This is permanent cast spot in the story. I will randomly toss "name drop" cameos and small spots in for these ponies as I can. This helps me avoid "random guard B was at the door" and such.
To meet Royal Guard diversity standards I'm looking for:

Name Drop Cameo
I'll do a one time name drop cameo for five (5) OCs as I can fit them in. Your pony will run across Silent Knight and company at some point that will result in a light introduction and a line or two.
Full Cameo
I'll do a short scene for one (1) OC when it makes sense. Your pony will be slightly integral to a single chapter and will, in some way, further the story.
Restrictions
* I cannot accommodate alicorns, bat ponies, gryphons, or changelings at this time. There is zero flexibility here. I'm sorry.
* I will be trying to stick to the numbers listed above for the PLHG cameos.
* I will not accommodate any special powers. It is totally cool with me if your earth pony can control vines in your Equestria. In mine she or he cannot.

Selection Process
All entries will be reviewed by my pre-readers, editor, and myself. We will select 5% or as many as necessary that meet my requirements to fill the slots (since I have no idea how many folks will enter) based on the following:
* You filled out the form completely.
* Your OC could fit the story. Example: If your OC is a homicidal pony that murders other ponies there is little chance I can work that into the story.
* Your OC is interesting to us.
* Your ability to convey your OC's personality.
* Magic.
Once we have our top 5% we'll use a random number generator to decide the winners.
Not Required But Appreciated
If you're going to take a slot in the story please actually be a fan. There are folks that are really excited to be included and I'd like to make them my priority. As such, I will not require anything but I would truly appreciate any of the following:
* Memoirs is favorited or on a bookshelf on FiM Fiction.

Cheers for the chance to have my OC be in your story. My guy grew up in Fillydelphia and went to school there. Moved to canterlot following the opening of a new hospital there. However due to the nature of canterlot he finds himself with little work and would like to make more of a difference.
Can we take a Crystal Pony instead of an Earth Pony? We know that just after liberation of the Crystal Empire it had a functional guard in place. I bet some of them gone to Equestria so why not some of the guards too? The variety of the guards is a perk so why not?

My OC is a: Male earth pony guard
My OC looks like: Iron grey coat with a dark grey mane/tail. Stands taller and more muscular than other earth stallions (think Big Mac basically), cutie mark is an iron shield with two eagle wings on either side of it.
My OC's personality is: Ironclad is a somewhat gruff pony and to the point (no beating about the bush) which can lead him into trouble for bluntness and lack of subtlety. He is stubborn, yet maintains a decent look of professionalism, and is very determined and a little headstrong. Iron Clad has a fondness for smoking pipes and tea, speaks with a deep gruff and authoritative voice (though it does soften when around trusted ponies and friends). Whilst a little intimidating at first, once his respect is earned he is a trusted and loyal friend who will stand by you whenever you are in trouble and will try his best to look out for you. Despite his tough exterior and his strength, Ironclad has a soft spot for foals and isn't shy to help a colt or filly out if he is able to, or answering inquisitive questions (as kids do).

His eyes sometimes shift a bit to orange for no reason]

The cutie marks aren't shown and they are mismatched by many scars on the flank. The only visable thing abaut them is the coulour green between the pink scars.
My OC's personality is: Careful, inexperessive and taciturn with stragners and on duty, becomes the opposide when with trusted persons. But he is always curious, figety and talks a lot. He also is a very forgiving person and tends to ignore negative things that would discourage most individuals. Likes discuss risky topics. Solitare cards addict. Hides his past with evasive answers/questions and topic changes. He also tends to ignore certain pain types, as he calls pain "an old friend". And laughts from it.
My OC's special talent is: He says it's blowing up stuff not always on purpose. But he doesn't have visable Cutie Marks as his flanks are adorned by many scars and healed burnings [supposely magical but it couldn't heal if it was magic. That's why some speculate it's in reality regeneration or surwival]. The scars are only recognizable by the lack of fur [if you think crystal ponies have fur] with pink skin visable and the mismash of reamians of his Cutie Marks. [grey colour] His useful skills include:
-Explosives productions, disarming and general how-to if they don't include too much magic.
-Saper work [both modern as well as ]: borrowing, base organization, trench building, underground warfare [and evrything else the Turks made under Vienna].
-Can use Crystaline Artifacts as a Crystal Pony.
-Can reflect magic but it doesn't always work. Expecially with solidfied magic.
-Isn't very strong but he is pretty durable and unyelding.
-Has immunity to some pain types that he responds with laughter.
-Can raise crystal stalagmites from earth soil but it is a very draining task as he uses some of his blood that is send from his hoof upon contact with earth to be send underground and do it's job. It's a common ability in my headcannon, dunno what Anzel thinks abaut it...
He always has his Crystaline Chakram [a throwing disk/round blade used by middle east armies, his would have a place for holding it with a hoof on top] that he can guide in the air, hit multiple targets and return to him as he is a Crystal Pony. The blade isn't sharp but upon impact it creates a small magical shockwave that works like a blade. I imagine he would always have it with him, hidden under the armour when on duty. On the top of this disc is a blurred out symbol that was once his Cutie Mark but it is now blurred out.
His mental weakness s that he doesn't know when to give up, is far from beeing a work-aholic and his memory isn't too good. Phisicly his back legs are relatively vunerable as they bear many scars, some of them not healable and their bones were broken many times. This is the place where pain bothers Armaggeddon.

In Memoirs I would like my OC to: an ex-saper, an underground borrowing gunpowder bomb specialist as he was him in the CE but here he can be whoever you want him to be. But I imagine him as a good quatermaster.
He can try to join a Royal House Guard as there isn't many things aside from military stuff as he was conscripted at a young age into Sombra's army.

His history: He was a corruped guard during the Sombra periode, after the King's fall he gone underground and emigrated to Equestria to escape the responsibility of sins he commited under Sombra's dark power. One thing he doesn't know that there was an amnesty for the likes of him XD.

My OC is a: Female Earth Pony
My OC looks like: Sea-green coat, with a pink rose mane and tail. She nearly always has at least one limb wrapped in a bandage or cast due to injuries. Her eyes are pink-rose hued as well, and her cutie mark is an adhesive bandage.
My OC's personality is: Child-like energy.
My OC's special talent is: Helping mundane wounds heal faster. (She constantly hurts herself on accident due to her klutzy tendencies, but anything she bandages/puts in a cast seems to heal faster than normal.)
My OC is most like: Pinkie Pie (But toned down quite a bit. Think 'practically perfect nurse/doctor for children'.)

To be honest, I haven't actually read the story yet. It's in my 'to read soon' bookshelf, as I'm sick. (I read new stories when I'm sick, since I tend to miss details, and all-in-all say 'more stupid' things in comments than when I'm healthy.)

My OC is a: Male Unicorn
My OC looks like: Deep green coat, dark blue mane and tail with a lighter blue-gray streak running down them. Mane is cut short while tail is long and held in a neat bundle by thin brass rings near the end and near his dock. Amber eyes. Cutie mark is a trio of gray motion flashes of decreasing size, each one under the previous.
My OC's personality is: He's a bit rough around the edges since he's from a backwater and hasn't had all the fancy education of Canterlot ponies. But he's nice enough and has made a life and a living by exploring, learning about, and guiding ponies through some of the wilder parts of Equestria. Essentially he's a ranger. He's less than comfortable with urban settings and even less so amongst large groups of ponies.
My OC's special talent is: Simply enough, wilderness survival.
My OC's particular abilities are: His telekinesis is surprisingly weak. The most important spell in his small arsenal is a very short range, near-instant cast teleport (like Ferrel's) that he uses to get over/around obstacles that would otherwise be difficult for unicorns to navigate. It also provides for the ability to suddenly approach from random angles or escape predicaments. (He has a penchant for hanging out on the lower limbs of trees as a good way to be safe/keep an eye out.) Otherwise he has other minor spells useful for use outdoors - like a minor spark spell he can use to light small fires.
My OC is most like: I'd say Applejack. Down to earth, simple, and hard-working when it comes to is specialty.
In Memoirs I would like my OC to: I'm not sure. He's not likely to be House Guard material, but he'd have a lot to teach guards about living, navigating, and safety outside the comfort of city walls. Perhaps showing up to discuss irregular tactics.
He could also be called in to try teaching his teleport spell to any unicorn who showed an aptitude, since the tactical uses are many.

Ignore the backstory I was using for an idea of mine. Also, the third picture would be most appropriate for him in any general setting. (Unless you want to make him and his family long time followers of Luna who use a minor illusion to swap their eye appearance. Don't think that fits too well in your universe though.)

My OC is a: male pegasus pony
My OC looks like: Tall and large in build, he is often confused for a draft earth-pony. A coppery- brown coat with a Dark earth-brown mane. A stripe of white in the mane just behind the ears. White feathers on all four hooves and a white blaze. Peridot green eyes. Cutie Mark is a bronze serpent wrapped around a pole emblazoned a light green shield.
My OC's personality is: Outgoing and friendly. A bit clumsy due to his size, and the origin of his nickname "Daffy", which he has learned to endure good-naturedly. His goal in life was to join the Equestrian guard as a medic pony, but having attained that, his ambitions are mainly for knowledge and experience. He has a great deal of interest in illnesses and injuries. Sometimes to a fault. As not everypony is comfortable giving up their medical history. A pony with a servant's heart, he often offers to help. As such, he is often unwilling to ask for help. Kind-hearted and a bit naive, the military may not be the best fit for him, but if he doesn't last as a Medic in the EUP, he will most likely have a successful career as a nurse.

My OC's personality is: well... you can think of him as a Big Mac, a silent type that only speaks a lot if there is a need to but prefers to act more then talk. protective and devoted.
Also knows that sometimes good and bad are in the eyes of the beholder, does what needs to be done even if its not the "good thing to do" if it gets the job done, and can go to the extreme on that.
My OC's special talent is: this is where we might need some explaining. as a part of the story i'm editing (MDC see references) he is a "rare breed" of pegasus that was named "storm rider" that where breed by Celestia according to the story to create an equivalent to Luna's Bat ponys.
he's talent (as you can see from his mark) is a combo of 3 things:
1) mjolnir (Thor's hammer) that gives his neutral ability as a Pegasus a boost and he can make lightning and use it(not a must to use in this story)

Personal History: Greyson was born in the northernmost province of Equestria called Canida. He first decided he wanted to join the Equestrian military in his teen years. His brother was killed serving in the peace keeping mission that Silent Knight's father served in at that time. As his brothers coffin was lowered and he was handed the Equestrian flag, he swore that he would let no other Equestrian suffer as he had. His brothers body wasn't able to be recovered and they had to bury an empty coffin. In Canida, it is believed that a body must be put to rest properly, or else the soldiers soul will be forever damned to wander the earth, searching for peace. Since that day Greyson has devoted his life to serving in the Equestrian military. A few weeks after training he saw action. A hostile pack of Diamond Dogs were harassing a nearby ore mine. Greyson's platoon was tasked with driving them out. It was a massacre. The confined spaces, combined with the Dog's natural affinity for tunnels felled many soldiers. Eventually, they were forced to clear the mine as it became unstable and collapsed. Almost half of his platoon was left in the mine when it collapsed. When they were finally able to clear the rubble three days later and send in some solders to recover the bodies, they found that the Diamond Dogs had eaten their corpses. Greyson never lost the feeling of guilt he gained then. It was there and then he swore to never again leave behind the body of a comrade without giving it the rights of rest.
In the fighting Greyson gain a number of scars, one leading from under his left eye down to his jaw line, and another underneath his lip, scything off to the left.
The Rights of Rest in a battle field funeral involve burying the body, if time and the situation allows, laying the Equestrian flag over the grave or body, saying words of rest/prayers, and then folding the Equestrian flag. Greyson, to this day, still carry's the flag given to him at his brothers funeral. It is the flag he uses to lay a comrade to rest in the field and always keeps it on his person. Letting another person hold that flag is the greatest form of trust he can give another person, it's not exaggeration when I say that he would sooner cut of multiple body parts before parting with that flag. If a comrade falls in battle, Greyson will sooner die then let the body be lost. At the time of Memoirs Greyson is around his mid thirties in age.

My OC is a: male pegasus
My OC looks like: He is a grey/blue pegasus. His mane and tail are mild orange with white endings(white endings are family trait) and rather messy. He has violet eyes, which look odd given his mane/tail and fur color(some genetical defect). He's exceptionally fit, but not particularly muscular(something like Rainbow Dash). His cutie mark is a lance stuck in a cloud. Kinda like u have a circle made of a cloud and after u strike this circle, this lance would be stuck halfway through it.
My OC's personality is: He never lies to mares(a weird principle he developed) and is generally honest to stallions based on how personal the matter is. The more personal, the more he's avoiding answer. He always goes by the logic and thinks logically(which often leads him to overthinking things). Always(literally) sees two sides of a coin, which sometimes makes it difficult for him to state his opinion on a matter. Unless it's straight buissnes he has troubles talking to mares(he's very shy around them, when they look good(but never stutters)). On the other hand, he easily makes friends with stallions. He's intelligent(or he thinks so) above average, but not exceptionally. He also likes any sports and has a vast knowlegde of them. Likes to look at night sky and stars(nostalgia). Terrible in board games, master in card games. Loves challenges and tries his best(sometimes even at the cost of his health). When it comes to taking orders, he's like Captain America and would act like in "The Winter Soldier" shall such situation arise. Finally, willing to learn.
My OC's special talent is: His cutie mark is saying that he's good with long weapons(spears, lances), but he likes to think(who knows, he may be right, even) that it symbolizes him overthinking things and nitpicking, which helps finding flaws in plans.

He keeps his mane in a short crop, keeping it neat and out of the way, though he lets his tail do just about whatever it wants. His wings are actually somewhat large for his size, leading to him not being quite as fast, but having more endurance than a comparably-sized pegasus. Other than his wings, there's nothing particularly standout about him - very much the sort that can blend into the background without even trying.

He's always nervous about being a burden, so puts out an extra mile to avoid becoming one - usually giving that extra work on his own, in a quiet corner away from others, without a word to anyone else. Alright, first off I want to say that I just discovered this story less than a week ago and love it very much. It has been a long time since I've found a story that made me sit down and read everything there was until the next update.
My OC's name is: Silver Cloud

My OC looks like: Her coat tone matches the sheen of polished silver, which completely clashes with her white mane. From time to time, depending on Silver Cloud's mood likes to pin her mane back with one of the newly released "Luna mane clips."

She was injured during a rouge storm which she was lead to believe wasn't anything major, causing permanent damage to her wings, which lead to her current consultant position.
