One day, several months ago, I had an idea. A silly, stupid idea. It's not the weirdest idea I've ever had, but it's definitely one of the weirdest I've ever written down, and I can't say if I'll ever make a full story out of it. But, what the heck, I wrote the first chapter of it, and I may as well share it.
So, in case you're interested in reading the most insane thing I've ever written, here you go:

I've got some vague notions of how to proceed with this, but no real ending in mind yet. Basically (and, here I'm going to use spoiler tags) it involves two wizards, one good and one evil, who botch a magic ritual and wind up as a filly's cutie marks. They appear only as cartoon-like faces and the filly is the only one who can hear them or see them move. Of course, the wizards both want to get home, but they lost their own magic and are reliant on the filly in order to do anything. So, they both independently decide to try and teach her how to do magic. If you've ever seen a cartoon or TV show where a character has an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, then you get the basic relationship between these three characters.
Ahem. I told you it was weird. 
Like I said, I never planned to continue this story. Heck, I forgot about it until I stumbled across it in my GDocs drive a week ago. It's an idea that tickles my funny bone, though. I see great potential for silliness. If there's enough interest, I may give it a whirl.
So, is anyone interested in seeing more of this?

I would LOVE to read this. It doesn't sound easy to write but I see a lot of potential there. I'd recommend decided on some sort of goal or stylistic guideline for what you want to do before you begin though. For me it's too easy to run out of ideas midway if I don't.

This is fantastic. At first, I thought Nethros was Luna's cutie mark, which would've added all kinds of interesting wrinkles, but your idea sounds hilarious as well.
Also, props to Sally for breaking through the Glass Ceiling of Draxlthon, that fell crystal plane that forever denied women work in the arcane arts and sciences.

It reads differently from your other works: in a delightfully Pratchettesque sort of way. And the fact that magic recognizes itself as being somewhat silly even if some of its practicioners do not, is wonderful itself.
TL;DR: If you were to post this here, I'd read the crap out of it.

Nah. You're Merlos the Mad. Of the two other wizards, one is far too evil and the other is far too goody-goody. You'd be the happy medium between the two... not evil, and nowhere near being such a stick-in-the-mud

Heh, that was pretty funny. The wizards were both interesting and loved the confused henchmen. Didn't even know it was going to be pony related till the end, so many possibilities.
