The Apple Family Violist, Fiddlesticks!
Close in the beginning, but with so many votes in the middle for Fiddle Sticks, it swung towards her with significant margin! Only other pony to get nominated was Discord... but that was like an independent running the presidential primaries. Never goes anywhere.

Anywho, it was a common question if the vote for one excluded the other. Tis not the case! I'm sure you recall plenty of ponies appearing on more than one poll before, and Drifter will likely make an appearance next chapter as well. Gotta keep the Chekhov's Gunman alive, now don't I?
Anyway, for those who follow the results on the blogs, let me give you another choice. How should I write Fiddle's character?
A) Perky and upbeat, but hard-working till day's end.
B) Prefers to practice her bow over getting her hooves too dirty.
C) A Pony begrudgingly drawn into things, including her violin.
D) Make her Discord in disguise!

I think "A" is the best choice since that would definitely embody how she looks as well as her blood. She is an Apple, after all.
I'm torn between A for realism and D for the lulz.

I'd say A. Needs to be less refined than Octavia somehow. A little less super serious about doing it the "right way", but far less free than Vinyl Scratch. If that makes any sense.

I want to pick D so bad, but I just can't see discord playing a violin so I have to go with A.
P.S. If Discord would play any instrument it would be a Theremin.

Discord in disguise sounds random, not chaotic. Pinkie Pie in disguise would fit better, but the Pinkie band playing with Octavia might just be too insane to put into words
