Okay, I've ironed out some of the wrinkles in The Catch. So I want to start updating it.

I need to know, how many Chase readers are reading The Catch so I can figure out some kind of worthwhile update schedule. If the interest proves minor, it might be one a week or once every two weeks. If interest is stronger, it might be a bit more often. If interest is strong enough, there might be an update every other day or so.

So I need to know, who is reading this thing and is it worth cranking out the updates?

Also, for those of you who want more coltcuddling in your Chase-Verse, The Catch is the story for you. Uh, without spoiling anything, one of the major character romance interests was revealed.

Hell I'm reading it. I like Rye Mash (Although there is no relation to Button since Button doesn't exist in this universe. Which might actually be a blessing for that colt since things in the Chaseverse have pretty much turned into shite for the most part. Seriously... I'm not sure that Button, or Love Tap, would be able to make it.).

I'd also like to see more of the back story to the chase.

The Catch is the Chase. Well, sort of. I can't reveal certain things yet, but the stories tie together in a major way.

Personally, I read both The Chase, and The Catch ((and all of the little offshoot stories )) and I would love to see both update as regularly as possible. I do think focusing on one while still drafting the other is a better idea than trying to keep consistent updates for both main storylines.

On 'The Catch'.

Assuming you have no access to cloning technology - cutting back 'The Chase' so that 'The Catch' updates at a quarter to a third of the rate seems about right to me.

I guess it depends on how long 'The Catch' is.

I've been into the Catch since i found it. All things considered, i'm actually a bit more interested in the catch than the chase, though that may be because i prefer reading things in chronological order.

How about a chapter of the Catch for every ten Chase chapters, give or take? I love both, but it's pretty obvious to anyone that the Chase has more readership.

I like the Catch just as much as the Chase.

I just think the problem is exposure.
You talk about the Catch and nobody bats an eye; You see the Chase and everyone loses their minds.

But both stories are equally good, especially if they connect in a big way. I am all for catching up on the Catch.

I be a reader. I've always liked stories that are historical to another (yes, I read the Silmarillion and The Lost Tales). As to the relationships in The Catch, I care more about how the personalities work than how the plumbing goes together.
