Hey guys. It's been a wonderful ride. Ups and downs. And it's not the first time I've left the fandom, I know. But honestly? This time feels like the last time.
But that's okay. Things aren't beautiful if they last forever. Just like FIM, it began, it thrived, and then it ended. It is how things work.
In college I worked at a print shop. It was a little disheartening to see everyone coming in and knowing that most of the resumes they printed would go to waste.
Sorry dude. Have you ever done something in your free time related to your career that could be considered a job? If you have, you can make a section in your resume, and title it "freelance or independent" I've been starting to get into the IT field(about a year now), and I have a section dedicated to little tasks I've had to do for my family like setting up a printer or router. It definitely gives me an edge during the interview process.
Also, certifications are a good way to prove your skill set. Anyone can fluff up a conversation about their skills during a job interview, but certifications help back up your claims. I have no idea what you're trying to do exactly, but there are hundreds of certifications out there. Maybe nothing in archaeology, but there's bound to be something related to a specific task that the job you want entails.
Well at least you won't have to go all the way to Alabama. Sorry though, my friend.
*sadface*
My condolences and hugs.

Don't worry too much about it. Eventually you will get what you're looking for.
Heck, I was looking for 1.5 years and I only just got something. Just be patient.

Good luck getting back on the horse!
Sad to hear that. Hope you find something soon.
Inconceivable.
Sorry, dude. :( *Hugs*
