Well, as many of you know... the beginning of the story is somewhat lacking in the 'everything' department.
So, I have come to the amazing conclusion, that i should rewrite the entire story!

Now, what this means, is that I'm going to be redoing the poor structure of my first 100 chapters, fixing as many grammatical errors as I can find, filling plot holes, adding scenes, and enhancing the overall -ness of the story.
Among those things, the beginning will be largely rewritten.
Off the Record will be written alongside the rewrite, so it's not like my stuff is gonna stop being updated. But, if you feel like restarting the whole thing, this might be good for you! Because I promise that this new version of the story will be of MUCH higher quality.
So, yeah. Things are gonna get much much much better, and hopefully i can get it on EQD or something. That would be pretty nice. But i'm not THAT good i don't think. Not yet.

Well, the whole thing will be added to often, and i hope to add enough new content that it's well worth the reread. Like, i wanna have a bit more anger between Dash and Alex at the beginning, so that the get together can be a little more intense. That's just one thing though.

Personally, I think the whole "Chasing the Rainbow" spin-off went a little bit too fast with the pacing, so if you're planning on re-doing those too, that would be one a definitely recommend adding to.

Side arcs will be redone, I agree that the pacing needs work in a lot of places, and that they can generally be improved.

And as for the entire re-write, it's more along the lines of copy-paste, and rework the paragraphs that i think need to be reworked. I'm not rewriting almost a half a million words. I would go insane if that were the case.
I think that Haven Station was amazing as it is, though. I'm kinda disappointed that Dax didn't become a separate entity altogether, instead merging with Alex in his mind, but it works out either way, although there would be more comedic effect with the former. What I'm trying to say is for Haven Station, either don't change it very much, or change it a LOT. I don't see a "bit here, bit there" for that spin-off, it was great, so it's a really good "all or nothing" right there.

Edit: Knighty should add a feature for using "Folders" for stories made by authors so if they make a series, they can click on/add to the folders. Man, I'm smart, can't believe that someone didn;t think of this before.

Dont worry just yet. Its going to be a little bit before I get the first few out. Story elements are changing, and I need to make sure it all flows. Plus, I think certain chapters will be skipped all together for the sake of length and time.
So it's sort of like a reboot...
