About the Final Chapter... · 4:11am Oct 22nd, 2017
Now, I'm not sure how many of you are STILL around after this horrendously long journey, (I'm gonna say 5%).
But I'd like to apologize for taking so long to get this stuff out, particularly the final chapter.
My big problem right now, is that I literally can't find the words to end this story.
And I know, I still have the final side story, but this is really the end of the story in the form it's had for the last 5 years. Jesus I have a hard time wrapping my head around that number.
But yeah! I just wanted to apologize for taking soooooooooo long with this. I just find myself writing 2000 words, just to erase them all because it doesn't capture what I'm trying to convey. It makes me sad that all this is over, and I wanna try and make sure I don't screw it up. 
Also, if anyone is interested, I'm kinda looking to bounce my plans for the finale off of someone for some criticism, but that involves a huge amount of spoilers. So, I'm just tossing that out there if anyone would be interested.

Wow. The nostalgia. We're almost done. It kinda makes my heart hurt thinking about the end. It's not just a story for me. I remember getting home after school in 7th grade, and getting on my cheap tablet that was only good for internet browsing, and finding your story on fanfiction.net. It was the first story that I had found that was being updated regularly, and I was still new to finding what I liked to read. I had seen maybe 2 episodes of MLP and liked it, so I looked at some fanfiction for it. Even as I grow away from the fandom, the stories keep me here. You were maybe 20 chapters in, and I binge-read all of them. I read nonstop for days *under my bed* just getting absolutely absorbed in Alex's story. It makes me realize I actually grew up with Alex. As your writing improved, the characters developed, and I had, too. 5 years. I'd check for chapter updates every day, and read them at 11, staying up late just to read the newest one. Even as updates became less frequent, I'd go back and re-read my favorite chapters to hold me to the next update. I remember finding this site because you started posting it on here.
Thanks for getting me through middle school and high school with this story, and I really appreciate that you're putting this much effort to send it off right (no pressure, i'll read anything you write), be it for yourself, and random strangers on the internet. I hope this isn't the end of your writing on this site of universe, either way, as stated earlier, I'll read anything you write. You have a talent, and I grew up reading your style, so it feels normal to me. Take as long as you need, I'll wait as long as it takes. Thank you.
I know you've already gotten a couple offers, but I'd be willing to take a look at what you've written if you so wish. It might help to get several perspectives. If yes, go right ahead and PM me, but if not, I completely understand.
In any case, thanks for keeping at this story for so long; it's quite a commitment and I'm glad you've kept writing, especially considering how good it is!
Those five years have gone so fast, haven't they? And I understand that you don't want to rush out something, even release anything that you would consider sub-par... that, plus endings are hard to pull off. All I can say is good luck, may the creative juices flow and not block you.
Man...Time sure does fly. I remember finding this story out of boredom and just couldn't stop reading it...All I have to say now is you did a wonderful job with this story! Keep up the good work in your r future endeavors!

It has been a long ride, hasn't it? I've been looking at your Icon for the last five years, silently wondering what the heck it was. But, now that we've reached this point, I think I'm content knowing that it's one of those questions I'll never know the answer to. It's simply one of life's mysteries.

It seriously means a lot that my story has been so important for you.
I first started reading Teen Titans fanfics in grade 8, and I got totally hooked in to this huge world. I would go to bed early on school nights so I could get chapters in, I'd even copy-paste chapters in to my PSP so I could read at school.
I also remember two or three stories that I had fallen in love with, that had authors just abandon. And it seriously messed me up when they did. I felt like characters that I loved were being forgotten, or left in limbo. I'm a little embarrassed to admit how sad it made me, haha.
So, I promised myself that I'd never do the same thing. And! Despite a spotty updating record (especially on fanfiction.net,) I've managed to see this monster through to the end, and I'm really proud of myself for it.
It really makes me happy that I captured your interest like that, because I've been through the exact same experience. Just the thought that someone got hooked on something I wrote, the same way that I used to get hooked, makes the last five years worth it 1000%.

And you are actually right! It's just a mash-up of two different things - Puddi (look it up, you won't regret it) with the famous Dash face slapped on it. And it was created for the sole purpose of being amusing, so I'm glad it made you laugh
This was the first pony story I ever read, and it wasn't even on this site. Some of my friends watched the show, and I was debating whether or not I should watch it, when I came across this fic on fanfiction.net. When I first read it, probably 3 years ago now, I would constantly check for updates. Then for a while I stopped reading stories online, and when I resumed it was because I found this site. The first thing I did was look up your story, and I was immensely happy that it had a lot more chapters. This has been my favorite story, fanfiction or not, since before I watched 1 episode of FiM. Know that I will read whatever you post for the final chapter, no matter how good it is, or how long it takes.
