Had intended to make this blog post when one of my fics hit pre-readers again, and was thus a few days from release. But then EqD finally remembered that Unbound Skies got accepted, and posted it up. The results were predictable.
So seemed wise to tell people sooner than planned that I'm not dead.
So, um, I'm not dead.
Actually, I never really left. Unbound Skies was just struck by me having a little medical issue and Jakey getting a job. Now that things have settled for both of us, we're back to working on this very strange creation of ours.
I had intended to finish writing the next chapter of Moonlit Rise first, since the next chapter is closer to completion, but that'll just have to wait its turn.
Hopefully those I pre-read for will continue to be patient with me over the next week or so while I cram in some serious writing myself.

I think I let you know this, but I ran that last chapter of Cubic Zirconia past Elric and put it up, er, two and half weeks ago or so. I'd still be interested in knowing what you think of it as a reader, though. After you're done with your serious writing, of course...
