Hey guys.
After thinking about the story I wrote, I have decided that the level of incoherency my story has taken is not conducive to my writing career. I feel like this story started off smart, but degraded and degraded to the point that I could no longer answer questions logically.
I'm done trying.
This story is over. Thank you guys so much for reading it, but I can't finish it. I thought I was going to finish it strong, but as I thought about it more and more I decided that the route I had taken was very poorly planned and would raise more questions than it answered. I feel like this story had an interesting premise, but my presentation was so poor it simply fell flat eventually.
I also have to begin to focus more on my studies. I can't keep updating this story constantly, and even then there are other ones while, much less popular, are much more fun for me to write and I feel much better about.
It's not that I didn't listen. It's that after a bit of soul-searching, I decided that it's simply not worth enough to me to keep the story going. I have lost faith in it, and the original premise seems lost.
I'm sorry to have wasted your time. Maybe later when I'm less angry I'll release the story notes until the end, so that you aren't left completely hanging. I hope you won't "disown" me as an author and continue to read my other works. I promise they're better than this garbage.
EDIT 1: If anyone wishes to pick up this shambled mess of a story, be my guest. I will hand over all my assets for you. I might even revisit this story someday, when I have the time and drive.
EDIT 2: Apparently this piece of crap is taking space in the featured box from stories that deserve it. I have "unpublished" the story, but removed the password. It should still be link-able, but not show up on the main page. This also locked the fav button.

That's...well shit, that's just a shame.
Understandable, but unfortunate. It's a good concept, and the flaws could probably be edited out, but I suppose that having limited time means making choices.
Maybe you will be able to give it a solid rewrite some time in the future.
This was one of my favorite stories on the whole site... Possibly even the top.

It is an excellent concept, politics is one of the things they haven't touched in the show and you did your best to write a story about it.

Damn. This was a story I looked forward to for updates. But if you feel that you don't want to write it, I completely understand.
A shame and a pity. It's always a bloody shame when something good ends on a premature note.

Why do good stories get canceled? Yet stories that shouldn't exist or have existed too long still are being churred out at incoherent rates?

Give me a week. Maybe this foul mood I'm in will pass. Probably not, but maybe.
I honestly feel overwhelmed right now, and perhaps my judgment isn't as clear as it usually is.
I'm just so frustrated. My story never really was that good, and rereading it now I just think I am capable of so much more. I feel really bad about letting all the people down, and apparently some less critical as I actually enjoyed this pile of excrement. Maybe there's something I'm missing.
But as of now, I don't see it.
I for one liked it. You should leave it published. This way people can read it and decide for themselves whether or not it's good. Frankly, considering how rarely we got updates, I don't think people would have minded the wait between chapters either. I for one, still want to see how this ends. Any chance I can get a peek at the notes, just to see how this was supposed to go?
FYI, unpublishing this story also removed it from my favorites list (and therefore, I presume, everyone else's as well). That's actually a bit of a bother. Any chance you might reconsider that decision?

Authors and artists tend to be the worst critics of their own works.
Such a shame that you feel that way, but ultimately it is your decision. Good luck with studying and things.
Why is it people always freak out when their work gets featured anywhere?
I see this way too often, people bawwing because their work is popular and is recognized for that fact.
It's an absurd back-asswords way of doing anything and it thrives in the art communities.
I hate it.
So much good art is lost to artists freaking out or deciding they "don't do fan-work anymore" and destroying perfectly good material.
It was a good run, but anyways.... good luck on your next venture, whatever that may be!
1832418 Your thinking definitely isn't clear at the moment. Take a cold shower or something, I don't know, but apparently there are enough people here to raise a fuss, simply because they like it more than you do.

You are your own worst enemy my friend. You made something good, nothing is perfect. Let the story settle for a while, no one's telling you to rush it. Seriously though, I need to read the end to this!

Yeah, take some time off. Get the real life stuff out of the way. Then come back and re-evaluate. It helps!
