KitsuneRisu

Somedays, I sit, looking at the stars. I muse and wonder. I meditate and reflect. And I find the miracle in a new day of life. Especially since I swallowed so much glass the day before.

Oh, great. This guy again. Ugh. And my day was going so well.

Don't ever leave us again.

Martian, if you are in fact, Brian Blessed, I will lie down and worship you right here on the spot.

Welcome back.

We've missed you.

Hey glad you're back.

Welcome back! :ajsmug:

We should have acted. We should have seen the signs.
The Elder Scrolls foretold of his return.

Of great stories that come unfurled when brothers make friendship.

My good man, Risu, I start following you and you take a leave of absence? If I didn't know any better I'd say I'm bad for your health.

I TOOK a leave of absence. I might not be around as much here and there while I work on my general health, but I have just finally finished something that (I hope) readers of that particular story were waiting for for a long, LONG time. It was just bad timing! :twistnerd:

Why not check it out? Always happy to get it new readers. It doesn't have many. More is always better.

Man, I was gonna get something done tonight. There goes that plan.

Welcome back. May your body never again see success when rebelling against you.

1786097 Okay, I keep seeing you around here, and I have to ask: are you in fact a lurker at all?

1786888
Yes, he is. A vocal one, but a lurker nevertheless. He's the kind of lurker who goes "HEWWOS! I WUB YOU!" before dragging you into the darkness of his shadow-swept alleyway where he force feeds you candy and voracious commentary.

Speaking of voracious commentary, I am highly anticipatory of certain things regarding what you normally do.

Mmmm mmmhmmm.

1786893 Soon. I'm right in the middle of a story right now, but once I finish that, I'll head over to Romancing the Clouds.

I just don't want to make a more specific promise, since I can't predict how much time I'll have for reading in the near future. Homework, writing (did I mention I somehow started doing that?), occasionally faking an interest in social interaction . . . these sorts of things eat up time in sometimes quite surprising ways. Especially writing. Dear Celestia, it takes me forever to write anything.

Come to think of it, if you chose to look at some of my feeble scribblings and tell me some of the things I'm doing wrong, that would be cool. Scary, but cool.
Why do I even let people see my feeble scribblings?

1786916
Oh, I wasn't trying to push you to a time. I'm just saying I look forward to it, that's all.

And yes, I do extremely vicious breakdowns. You might only want to ask me to analyze a piece if you really mean it. :trollestia:

Afraid I can't do that, Dave! My normal reading time recently came under scrutiny... Turns out I spend a large amount of time reading fanfiction that I could spend bettering my life.

Haha, yeah right. I've just not been reading as much. As such I've fallen behind on my reading. (60+ unread favourites...) The read later list looks no better. I'd like to tell you I'll get to it eventually, but that would be a lie of the gravest degree.

1786934 Oh, I don't. But I also do.

I mean, I hate sharing my writing. I apparently got over it enough to participate in the EqD Writer's Training Ground, but I care about your opinion a lot more than I care about the opinions of random people who stumble across it, so I have every right to be scared.
But, on the other hand, my tendency to underestimate my ability aside, I'm a mediocre writer at best, so I want to improve. And practice alone will help a bit, but mainly I need criticism, which is hard to come by. It'd be frightening to ask you to tear my stories to shreds, but I'd definitely be better for it in the end.
So I think I have to go with "I can't convince myself to ask you to analyze my work, even though I should, but I can at least not ask you to never read it." What you do based on that is up to you.

1786954
Well! Thank you for being honest. I appreciate that. And of course, no problem at all! You're still my favourite ever confused gryphon. :twistnerd: Now get back into the kitchen and make me a cake. >=\
What am I paying you for?

1786957
It really is a consideration that you have to make, in the end. If what you say is true - that criticism is what you need to be better off in the end - then you should not let the fear of personal insult override your need to improve. This is a lot like how everything in life is.

The best things that can be said about my writing comes in the form of people picking on it to death but in a way that means something. It's the most painful as well. But ultimately, we learn how to separate professionalism from personal things and know what to take from everything.

I will send you a PM shortly.

1787010

I'm getting payed for this!? Pinch me, I'm dreaming. :raritystarry:

1787018
You will be when you get me my damn cake.

1787044
You know, what's more disturbing is that small faint sketch of what I can only assume is Krystal-pony being unable to enjoy her sandwich in the corner there.

1787047

I link an adorably creepy picture, and you point out something I didn't notice. Ya'know, I knew I liked your for a reason.:trixieshiftright:

This. 1786893 .

Just... All of that.

Rejoice and sing songs of his grand return!

The return has arrived... and it is a valiant one at that.

Welcome back, glad everything is working out.

That's wonderful to hear, Darling. I'm sure you're as fabulous as ever.

Yay! Welcome back, Rissie! Better late than never?
