1. Cute Ponies
2. The occasional giggle.
That's it. Everything else is just gravy. Granted, I love gravy, and eat it on everything except boobs, but it's just that: the extra bits that make a good thing great.
What makes MLP great is the character interactions, cool themes, world-building, character development and the like.
What makes it good is cute ponies and the occasional lulz.
And honestly? That's all I need to be happy. Cute ponies and laughs. I think I'll be straight.

I'd like a little bit of World-Building, like how it was done in Over a Barrel, but other than that I hope they stick to the strongest points they had in S1 and 2.

1527760 You kidding? They had a ton of world building in season 3 for the number of episodes they had to do it in. They established the Crystal Empire, had Rainbow Dash start to fulfill her dream, came to a resolution with the open ended Trixie conflict from the first season, settled the Discord problem, put the new empire onto its feet with the games, and even had an ascension episode that establishes not only that there are now four demigods, but that a common pony can get there. That's actually more than season 2 ever pulled off, if a bit rushed.
I couldn't agree more! Most people just need to calm down, sit back, and enjoy some adorable and funny ponies. I feel like people take the show's simple enjoyability for granted, and they start to expect far too much from it. This, inevitably, leads to disappointment.
Of course, if all you want is cute ponies and laughs, then I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.
But what about more plot?! Come on!

Oh no I'm not saying they didn't have World-Building in Season 3 I just like how they did it in Over a Barrel; show up, solve a silly conflict in a silly way and then leave. I thought it was cute.
Why can't I like a blog post?
I'd like more world-building, and I think that some political intrigue would be interesting, but all I really want out of the show itself is to have fun and some laughs while I watch.

I've already blogged extensively about what I'd like to see on Season 4 and in the future of MLP. Things like pipe dreams like seeing Peter Cullen as Star Swirl the Bearded. Or guest appearance by Weird Al Yankovic and John DiMaggio. Or MLP becoming more like Harry Potter. Or Discord as a villain who believes the evil he does is for the greater good.
What the buck does that mean?!
Does that mean I like chocolate syrup more than you like gray, because I would eat that on everything?

I am offended and insulted by your degrading comments about gravy. It's all about the gravy. Mashed potatoes, turkey and pot roast are merely conduits for gravy.
