In preparation for writing and publishing my own fanfiction, I I decided to do a little research; a little research, and before long I'd amassed a wealth of links, blogs, and other writings on the topic, both from within and without Fimfiction, and I thought that I could save some other newbies the trouble I had to go through by simply posting them all here.
Honorable mention goes to My Little Republic: Plato is Magic, which isn't actually related to Fanfiction, but is quite interesting in its own right, and attracted enough attention that Lauren Faust herself read and commented on it.

How to spelling?
A "breath/breathe" error in a guide concerning good writing. To make it worse, the error is not in the actual thing you linked to (though both forget the acute accent on "cliché"). I think I have a few Common Error blogs of my own to add to this list
* Concerning Self-Editing, Stealth Mountains and Regicide
* Concerning the Lead Content of LEDs, Laying Layers of Lies, and Lying Down Beside the Point.
Really, though, what's with breath/breathe? No only is one a verb and the other a noun, but they're not even homophones!
