That's right! It's time for another MLP Rule 34 update!

As of Jan. 5, 2013, here's the state of Rule 34, according to Rule34.paheal.net:
Pokemon still holds the lead with 55,194 images. 783 new explicit images were added during December, giving Pokemon a 1.4% increase in porn from last month.
Touhou is in second place with 33,294 images. 764 new explicit images were added during December, giving Touhou a 2.3% increase in porn from last month.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is in third place with 22,671 images. 1,545 new explicit images were added during December, giving My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic a 7.3% increase in porn from last month.
DC Comics is in fourth place with 18,918 images. 463 new explicit images were added during December, giving DC Comics a 2.5% increase in porn from last month.
Street Fighter is in fifth place with 14,581 images. 124 new explicit images were added during December, giving Street Fighter a 0.8% increase in porn from last month.
Marvel Comics is in sixth place with 13,504 images. 105 new explicit images were added during December, giving Marvel Comics a 0.7% increase in porn from last month.
Naruto is in seventh place with 13149 images. 1240 new explicit images were added during December, giving Naruto a 10.4% increase in porn from last month.
Sonic Team is in eighth place with 11,086 images. 133 new explicit images were added during December, giving Sonic Team a 1.2% increase in porn from last month.
Digimon is in ninth place with 9,947 images. -386 new explicit images were added during December, giving Digimon a -3.7% increase in porn from last month.
Well, this update certainly presented some unexpected numbers!
Most of the IP's saw slight decreases in porn production from last month, with the largest notable exception being Naruto.
I can tell that Naruto fans had a very messy Merry Christmas. Porn postings for Naruto jumped from 3.7% in November to 10.3% in December! It came close to MLP's numbers in terms of the sheer number of monthly content produced. I'm not sure what caused this sudden increase of Naruto porn. My best guess is ninja magic.
In some rather sad news, Digimon lost its status as a 10K porn titan this month.
After losing 386 images during the month of December, Digimon fell below the threshold with only 9,947 explicit images. It's difficult to say what happened. One possibility is that Digimon's numbers were being padded with duplicate images, which were eventually removed. Another theory is that some of the posted images had been uploaded without the consent of their respective artists and were subsequently taken down.
Whatever the case may be, Digimon is currently in the hole. (giggity) Hopefully, it'll be able to pull itself out (giggity) by next month.
Here's an update on Rule 34 for the mane six:
Twilight Sparkle 
has 3,539 images. 220 explicit images were added during December, Giving her an 6.6% increase from last month.
Rainbow Dash 
has 3,172 images. 185 explicit images were added during December, Giving her a 6.1% increase from last month.
Pinkie Pie 
has 2,757 images. 110 explicit images were added during December, Giving her an 4.1% increase from last month.
Fluttershy :
has 2,646 images. 145 explicit images were added during December, Giving her a 5.7% increase from last month.
Rarity 
has 2,180 images. 146 explicit images were added during December, Giving her a 7.1% increase from last month.
Applejack 
has 2,102images. 178 explicit images were added during December, Giving her a 9.2% increase from last month.

In relation to MLP porn news, a special kudos goes out to Ratofdrawn aka Ratofponi. He made a drawing of the mane six, with the words "Happy New Year" written across their bottoms. This subsequently became the featured image on rule34.paheal.net to ring in the new year.

When talking about MLP pornography, it's important to have context. With that in mind, let's take a look at general porn statistics.
Look at bullet point number four. The worldwide porn industry is $4.9 billion. That's more than what it cost for Disney to buy Star Wars or Marvel!
(Disney paid $4 billion for Star Wars and $4 billion for Marvel comics.)
It's also worth noting that the Rule34 images of Star Wars, Marvel and Disney combined are still less than the number of MLP porn.

Sunday is most popular day. Oh the sweet, wonderful irony. I noticed that jump in the Naruto stat before you even pointed it out specifically, and was thinking "wtf? Was its rate like that last month? WILL NARUTO SOMEHOW OVERTAKE US?" Unlikely. Just an anomaly, probably.
Also, if Twilight Sparkle gets put in Kingdom Hearts, I might actually buy a Kingdom Hearts game.

MLP is a titan, I'm glad to have been a brony since the early days and despite the assumptions of most people. I didn't start looking at clop until 6 months after I was a brony. It annoys me when people think i'm in the fandom for the porn, truth is I came for the awesome show and fandom and I stayed for the porn.

I keep wondering why Hasbro is so stupid, they could make quality Plushies and charge a mint for them and we bronies will make the toy stores sell out of them. Not even the crappy toys a safe. I was in a toy raid where 30 bronies marched into a store and bought half of their stock of pony merchandise.
