Without further ado, here's the latest data from Rule34.paheal.net!

As of March 10, 2016, here's the state of Rule 34:

Pokemon still holds the lead with 109,836 images. 1,683 new explicit images were added during February.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is in second place with 85,387 images. 1,220 new explicit images were added during February.

Touhou is in third place with 66,309 images. 806 new explicit images were added during February.

Pokemon surpassed My Little Pony in porn production. 24,449 images separates Pokemon and My Little Pony! The gap has increased by 463 images from last month. MLP hasn't had monthly numbers this low since December of 2014.

As of March 10, 2016, here's the state of Rule 34 for the mane six, according to Rule34.paheal.net:

Twilight Sparkle  has 12,569 images. 169 explicit images were added during February.

Fluttershy :yay: has 9,963 images. 112 explicit images were added during February.

Rainbow Dash :rainbowdetermined2: has 9,801 images. 106 explicit images were added during February.

Pinkie Pie :pinkiehappy: has 8,532 images. 88 explicit images were added during February.

Rarity :raritystarry: has 8,316 images. 123 explicit images were added during February.

Applejack :ajsmug: has 7,878 images. 101 explicit images were added during February.

"MLP hasn't seen numbers this low since Dec 2014, but Pinkie's on a whole new level of low! She hasn't had this few numbers since November 2011. Looks like Rarity is making her way up the ranks. Our brony artists must be craving a more sophisticated beau monde of a mare in their saucy scenarios." -Infinion

Pinkie Pie managed to generate only 88 images this month! Surprising for the former third place. Is she still the top party pony, or party phony?

Special thanks to Infinion, who made these amazing graphs of the data I collected.

To start off with, here's the master chart of the top three Rule 34 producers.

This chart represents more than five years' worth of Rule 34 data. In order to more closely examine the numbers, Infinion has broken the data into more manageable semi-annual charts.
Oct. 2010 - Mar. 2011.
Apr. - Sept. 2011.
Oct. 2011 - Mar. 2012.
Apr. - Sept. 2012.

Oct. 2013 - Mar. 2014.
Apr. - Sept. 2014
Oct. 2014 - Mar. 2015
Apr. - Sept. 2015
Which brings us to March 2016.

To get an idea of how far My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has come since its premiere, here's a chart highlighting the monthly numerical data and moving average of MLP porn.

For those who desire a more consolidated look at the raw data, here's the numbers for the top three porn producers, as well as their monthly increase.

Now let's take a look at the Rule 34 stats for the mane six. Here's their master chart.

In order to discover what these numbers mean, we'll need to delve deeper. In order to do that, we'll break down the data into semi-annual chunks.
Oct. 2010 - Mar. 2011.
Apr. - Sept. 2011.
Oct. 2011 - Mar. 2012.

Here's a bar chart illustrating the monthly increase for the mane six. (Total number; monthly increase)

Nearly one year ago I discussed the origin and history of Wonder Woman.

When Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was released, fans and critics were divided on whether the film was good or bad. One thing that everyone seems to agree on is that Wonder Woman is awesome! Gal Gadot’s brief appearance as the premiere female superhero has garnered praise from everyone, including the film’s biggest detractors. The Wonder Woman solo film, which is slated to be released next year, is generating a lot of positive buzz.

It's taken more than 75 years for Wonder Woman to get her own movie. While some will point to sexism as an easy explanation, it's worth considering that the unique circumstances of Wonder Woman's origin may have played a role in delaying her cinematic debut.

When she was created in the early 1940s by psychologist William Moulton Marston, his wife and their partner Olive Byrne, the original Wonder Woman was conceived as an avatar for specific views on feminism, gender roles and human sexuality which were considered radical and ahead-of-their-time. Starting in the 1950s, DC sought to downplay those aspects in favor of a more traditional warrior-woman model.

In a recent interview with The Nerdist, comic book writer Grant Morrison discussed going back to Wonder Women's original comics for inspiration when writing the latest iteration of the character:

“I just felt that original version of Wonder Woman was really fertile soil again, to do a version of Wonder Woman that was maybe a little different, and might shed a different light on who Wonder Woman was, and what Wonder Woman represented. So we went back to the Marston stuff, and it’s just a delightful, mad, psychosexual wondrous series of comic books. And I felt that Wonder Woman could use a little of that atmosphere again, and certainly I love that outsider/alternative quality that Marston brought to the character initially.”

Morrison’s reimagined Wonder Woman will be overt regarding aspects of the character which were previously only hinted at in the subtext.

Marston’s original Wonder Woman stories were filled with thinly-veiled reference to his philosophical views on pansexuality, polyamory and S&M as components of enlightened modern relationships, which subsequent writers have elected to distance themselves from. But notions of same-gender romance among DC’s Amazon’s have been a favorite topic to hint about among recent generations of Wonder Woman writers, and Morrison has elected to drop the pretense entirely: Earth One’s Diana is, for the first time, openly bisexual – and has a female lover named Mala.

A female lover named Mala!? Well, this will certainly make things awkward when Wonder Woman goes to visit Chewbacca and his family for Life Day!

“Obviously, it was always implicit in the material, where you had a society of women that lived without men for 3,000 years, and I don’t think they gave up sex when they gave up men. [laughs] But it was always implicit in the material, we just shined a light on it, because I think we live in a world where these things are not considered quite as radical or as frightening as they once were. Hopefully.”

In the original comics, Wonder Woman's best friend was Etta Candy. She was portrayed as a big girl. Her popularity has fluctuated over the decades. Recent versions had her lose most of her weight, which made Etta Candy look like pretty much every other woman in comics. But in the new Wonder Woman comic, Etta has been restored to her original appearance and characterization, with a more modern twist.

"I loved the character, because she becomes the voice of reason, the voice of humanity really. She punctures the slight pompousness of the Amazons, and the way they speak. So I think she was necessary. And I love that physically, she’s almost the opposite of Diana, and she’s the first girl that Diana really bonds with. And I hated when they gave the character an eating disorder (back in the ’90s) and made her thin, I felt it was a betrayal of the character’s enthusiasm and her verve and her love of life, because that’s what she had to represent.

I told Yanick look at Beth Ditto, the singer from The Gossip, and there’s a little bit of actress Rebel Wilson in there as well. Those were the modern physical models we thought would suit the character, and updated the character. We wanted a big girl, one who could fight, and laugh and drink. She’s the Falstaff of Wonder Woman really."

It should be noted that DC’s Earth One books are not meant to specifically supplant the continuity of mainstream titles. Whether or not Morrison’s graphic novel will provoke controversy for the new film remains to be seen, but fans won’t have to wait long to find out: Wonder Woman: Earth One is scheduled for release on April 6, 2016.

Thanks for reading to the end of another Rule 34 update! My Little Pony Season Six starts March 26. If we can expect to see another boost in porn production, it's going to happen in April and May.

It's been a such a long time since I read one of these and you don't disappoint,Bronystories! It's always nice to read a history of the r34 growth along with a small lesson following right after. i r8 8/8

As always, wonderful job.
The data is really well structured and the graphs are amazing.
I expect Twilight to have 1st place, but, as usual, Fluttershy surprises me with 2nd place. Aj in last is not that hard to expect IMO.

Keep up the amazing job :yay:

Seems like the boost of Starlight Glimmer stuff hasn't made it to the tracking data yet.
