The build doesn't match Spike's muscular body from the end of G4. Guess that further renders G5 noncanon.

At this point it’s become clear that G5 would have been better off as a story separate from G4, but they just keep throwing stuff from G4 in to try and get old fans to watch. Regardless of whether or not it makes sense and completely disregarding any and all plot holes it makes.

Its like God decided to pick up smiting again and saw an easy mark at first but then realized that Fluttershy liked him and God didn't want to make Best Pony sad so rather then a pillar of salt or immortality he made him Nearly Unfuckable in the Testicular Tortion wizard voice.

Or Spike pulled a the gigalo equivelant of a Jonathan Lipnicki. Or someone at Hasbro wants to spite you specifically.

Or Spike aimed for the king and had the wantoness swatted from him with the wind from a single hip thrust of the true master on guy sluttery.

Man the entire G5 plot makes zero sense. Twilight would never remove magic from ponies in the first place. Idk this show just seems like it dosen't take it self seriously.

Anyways VClaw it's good to hear from you. Just a question. Any plans to bring Brushed Away to physical print? I know I've asked about it before, don't want to annoy you about it just curious what your plans are for the future.

I do plan to bring the story to physical print, and I actually have all the internals completed. All I need is to get a cover page commissioned, which is way pricier than I would've expected.

Eh, the G5 show is very hit and miss. I quite enjoy the first movie, but the show is much less interesting. I also feel that the characters are not quite the same as they were in the movie, which is a shame.

As for Spike... I don't know. Its been a very, very long time since Twilight was around obviously in the G5 universe. If nothing else it was kind of nice to see Spike remembering the good times but having found his place in this new world and not dwelling on the past or the negative. But yeah, there was nothing to link this Spike to G4 Spike in any way either, so I get the disappointment.

I have moved on from G4 for the most part, fanfiction is the only thing that keeps me involved with the show in any way. I'll probably watch the next G5 batch as well, but it's barely enough to keep me interested.
