This story is a sequel to Literacy

Pinkie Pie comes to Rarity for help; someone's attacked her, with a weapon as unexpected as Pinkie herself.
But when Rarity embarks on a quest to find the pony who assaulted Pinkie, she ends up finding more than she bargained for.

After the Fall Formal, Sunset Shimmer begins acting strangely. Soon, she disappears altogether, leaving her friends worried and confused.

Takes place in between Equestria Girls and Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks.

When Rainbow Dash asks to borrow a book from Twilight, her friend's reaction takes Dash on a roller-coaster ride of confusion.

I've fought a lot of bad things in my life. I've helped stop Nightmare Moon. I've re-petrified and then reformed Discord. I've helped the Crystal Ponies fight King Sombra. I've done so much and fought so many different battles...
But the one enemy I've never been able to defeat is the fear. It's always there, its black tendrils seeping into my mind and making me weak, making me a coward.
Today, I fight that fear. But I do not do it alone, like all the other times.
This time, I have my friends.

[Takes place two years after the S4 Finale]

After all the time I've spent playing video games in the Canterlot Arcade, I actually get to be in them!
Finally, all my dreams of piloting intergalactic spaceships and fighting off demons are going to come true!
There's just one catch, though...
I have to bring Octavia with me.
Shouldn't be too hard, right?
After all, I've got help.

I am number seven.
I've traveled very, very far from where I've started.
I know I will not stop for a very, very long time.
The others are coming.
They will retrace my steps, as I have retraced the steps of those before me.
When we have all arrived...
The Plan will begin.
This is why I exist.
Why we exist.
Nothing can change that.

When Fluttershy finds out that Discord knows where the keys are, the Mane Six embark on a perilous quest to find them, facing an enemy both new and very, very familiar to them.

UPDATE: Currently on hiatus for a long while. I just don't think I have it in me to write all this dark stuff ATM. If I ever feel up to it, I'll complete it. In the meantime, I'll let this sit here and collect dust.

The worst of calamities has come to the Mane Six. A test that their friendship could not withstand, that no friendship could possibly withstand. Which menace is the culprit behind the collapse? Is it Discord? Or is it the object that he so casually introduced into their midst?
