Following the events of Dancing with Dust, a pulse of magic...and some stolen artifacts, are causing changes. While Sunset and the girls investigate, they get sidetracked by other teenagers gaining powers similar to their own...minus the geodes.

Some are thrilled, others...not so much. The first glimpse into the new heroes that maybe...one day will stand with the Rainbooms to defend earth from magical forces?

After transferring here from a small school in Sire's Hollow, Starlight takes the chance to begin opening up more, nothing can go wrong. In this school full of cut throat academic competition. Nothing at all...

Moondancer has...had a secret, but when it's revealed for the school to know...she's met with more support than ever. The quiet nerd gains a group of die hard friends and...with no prior knowledge of friendship, she begins trying to take turns to learn more about them...from the DJ's music, to the overenthusiastic 'Cryptozoologist' as she likes to call herself, the confectioner, the reserved socialite and even the cheerful delivery girl. Though none seem to hold her interest as much as the girl who stood up for her first. The rough and tumble jock.

Join her on her journey from being an outcast to having so many friends she isn't sure how she'll manage...and maybe, just maybe...she'll let Light know just how much she appreciated her stepping in when that bully decided to pick on her.

Profanity and Violence aren't the focus...but there are instances where fists are thrown and some heavy topics are discussed. The suicide warning is for a big reveal, but no worries, none of the cast are the victims.

Since the friendship games, Sour Sweet has been making an effort to stick with her new crew of friends. However in opening up more and socializing...she's learned more about her rapid mood swings. Her friends are supportive and after an instance where she almost hurt someone...was given proper help. She hates taking the medicine each day. It eats at her. Why isn't she normal?

Well...luckily she doesn't face this alone. More so when her metalhead friend catches her in an emotional state. Lemon may not be the best equipped for this...but she'll be damned if Sour suffers in silence.

Lemon cares too much about her to let her hurt without trying to help.

Indigo Zap, star player of CPA. One fell swoop, one misplaced move, her world crashed down around her. Luckily she wasn't alone on the road to recovery. Sunny still looks after her. This is the beginning her moving forward...but maybe this journey is best taken with company.

PERSONA 5 SPOILER WARNING!! Sugarcoat, the quiet, yet blunt student of Crystal Prep...met with some unique individuals over her time there. This year...they step outside of just being classmates and save the world as the daring Phantom Bolts.

*Note, this is a snippet of the later story to gauge interest. This is a dumb little crossover I've been thinking about and I figured I'd see if anyone was interested in me doing the other palaces...maybe even doing a full on abridged retelling with the bolts?

Starlight Glimmer of the human world had a chance encounter with Trixie's magic shows. She thought the magician was pretty cute...cue asking her friends about her. Luckily Sunset and the others know her. Not...exactly well, but enough to guide her along.

There are sad bits, but there's lots more fluff than sad.
