Nothing ever seemed to go right for Buzzkill. She would always have something in her life that would screw her over. She never had many friends, and was more timid and quiet to talk to anypony. Until one day when Buzzkill runs away from home and meets a mare who she believes can fulfill her greatest want.

Avian was always a cocky, egotistical, and overachieving pegasus. When he was a student in flight school he would bully a blind filly named Blurry Stylist. 8 years later him and his friend/roommate Wacky Tabacky finds an unconscious mare in the Everfree Forest, when he took her to his home he learns the impossible.

One day when she was scouting the everfree forest for unknown plants Ninroot came upon a somewhat large cave with a strange glowing, transparent mushroom in the far corner. Since Ninroot couldn't find that in any of her plant journals she decided to up root it and take it home with her to study and grow enough to sell to the ponies of Ponyville, but when she brings the glowing mushroom back Techie is suspicious about its appearance.

As everypony gets ready for the winter wrap up season our main character "Techie Hoof" is stuck with his least favorite job... Planting seeds. As he works in the fields he spots a beautiful newcomer named "Ninroot" who has no home and has very little money to her name. When she is assigned the same job as Techie he notices that unlike him she enjoys planting seeds and loves plants. Can Techie win the heart of the plant lover or get left in the mud?
