This is a side project while I write my current, non-pony related material to help the creative juices flow. As such, it will be somewhat less polished than what I'd like to publish. It's a fan fiction. I have not read any other fan fictions, and don't particularly intend to, as I am quite busy with other things, so it may not be quite with established 'fanon'... which should be alright with anyone and everyone, considering fan fictions are created to be a fan's interpretation of a continuation or sideplot that perhaps was not covered in the main storyline... or perhaps something more fantastical. This is also not a clopfic, despite the fact that it may contain emotional scenes. Not everything has to degenerate into depravity, after all.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Quillyn Pen, an average earth pony born and raised in Ponyville, notices that there are some weird things going on that harken back to the stories of his childhood. A former militia stallion, he takes matters into his own hooves to investigate just what these 'changelings' are up to in the Everfree forest. What he finds there changes his own life, and potentially many, many more.
