Forrest Gump is my favorite movie of all time, so I decided to try making it into an MLP story. Certain aspects of the story are altered, but I think Derpy has a lot of similarities to Gump. Both of them are kind of slow, but just about the sweetest people... er ponies you could ever hope to meet.
I really don't think any of the people who complained about Derpy ever watched Forrest Gump, because if they had they would know that "Stupid is as stupid does," and leave Derpy alone.
So here now, is Forrest Derp.
UPDATE: After much consideration, I have come to realize that this story is much to complex to make a Derpy parody of. However I will leave it up for people to enjoy what I have so far. I am currently working on a new Derpy story, which should work much better.

2612182 Thanks for the compliment. Sorry I couldn't think of how to continue the story. Truth is that eventually it would have gotten too complex to turn into an MLP story. I do have other Derpy stories I'm working on at the moment though.
i don't see how you thought this story was too complex for Derpy, i feel like this fanfiction could be so much more
