I especially love how you're portraying Chadahn and Leonard, and i'm a huge fan of Malenia's motives for Radahn's Great Rune. Makes perfects sense (I'm a lore nerd, so bear with me) when you consider that everything she does, everything, is for Miquella and the order he wishes to bring about via the Haligtree.
It's never outright stated, as is the nature of FromSoft games, but that is an absolute plausible reason for their conflict, among other things.
11583398 It’s hilariously clever on the dev’s part.
When I first watched the Malenia vs Radahn trailer for the game, I automatically thought he’d be a sort of goofy antagonist while Malenia was the protagonist.
How wrong I was.
Neither of them are so black and white, good or bad, - they’re both gray. They both have their sins, but they also have admirable qualities. They live in an absolute harsh world, and are just trying to get by while staying true to their ways.
I just did research on the battle between them (I had not done so before) apparently it was a stalemate. I wonder how you gonna to adapt that? I am eager to see.
11583527 Yeah, the community agrees that it’s a stalemate, especially since Ranni outright tells us that there would be no victor during her commentary on the battle itself.
However, we can safely say that Radahn did have the advantage, since we saw him stop to give Malenia a chance to reattach her arm, before she eventually activated her trump card.
The significance is that she swore to never use it, but found it necessary to use against Radahn. And so, she tossed aside her pride…and bloomed.
Worst part? It was all for naught…
Of course, I’m going to add my own little flare to the battle. 😎 Adapt some creativity, and more.
11583577 I do have a question. When he inevitably gets turned into a pony, judging by the cover art he’s going to be earth pony, so how is he going to use his specialty in gravitational magic?
Despite what some might think of her, I really can’t hold it against Malenia, either. Yes, it was a scummy thing to do, especially since we know Radahn also held back something that could destroy Caelid, but didn’t resort to it.
Yet, I can understand where Malenia is coming from. One does desperate things when it’s for the people they love.
Sadly, she lost everything after her scarlet bloom. Her warrior’s pride, having to use the curse she swore to overcome, and worst of all, she lost her brother.
I can’t help but feel bad for her, even though she’s killed me many times over and over again in my first play through.
11583651 Well the whole thing with Earth ponies having some form of geomancy and the fact that he can coat his swords and rocks makes me believe that gravity magic is actually intrinsically connected to the planet or Earth that you're connected to meaning it's one of the greatest forms of geomancy as it's using the very force that keeps the planet together as your weapon. (Did I get it right?)
“You forgot to say ‘ please. ’” Radahn cracks his neck as Leonard rears up and stomps in place, letting out a fearsome whinny. “If you want it, then you’ll have to take it.” The general smirked, “But you already knew that.”
Elden ring fic?, you have my attention

Thank you!

I appreciate that!
Anyone who hears these words are already dead
Also, I always found it funny that the biggest of boys rode on this a size horse.

Sometimes, they’re prone to slip up.

There was also the fact radahn didn’t use the stars during the fight by my knowledge. Meaning, he was handy capping himself a little bit.

Yup! You got it.
The big guy was nerfed even long before and after he had succumbed to the rot. A truly powerful individual.
11583577
Shame on Malenia, but It's like the old saying goes: "If you can't beat 'em, give 'em an incurable STD."
11583585
Now THAT I do have a plan and explanation for.
I think it’s within the realm of possibility, and I’m excited to show it off.

Indeed.

Hands down my favorite boss in Elden Ring. Which is difficult since all of the game's bosses are incredible and have rich lore.
Didn’t know Radahn was motivated
