Wooo! Glad to see this chapter. It’s nice to see Leonard meet more of the Kirin tribe and bonding with Mulan. The scene with the Guan sisters was hilarious as was the appearance of the new character. Hope we see Leonard doing some sparring to see how he would handle the fight with Flare.
11720641 Funny you two should bring up the stream water and a spar to get his measure, for both shall be happening in the next chapter! (Nice predictions!)
Mulan having broken away during this chapter actually segways into her grabbing the water, which they will try during breakfast. This then leads up to a spar, but who his trainer is shall be revealed.
11723714 The subject gets explored further when Leonard really gets to dive into the kirins' culture, but without getting into too much spoiler territory, their being able to breed with other races isn't a trait that's shared across the world. And there's a genuine reason for it, too.
We won't get abyssinians (Capper's race of catfolk), yaks, ponies, or griffons being able to cross-breed as well as the kirin can. It's actually going to be impossible for any of those species listed to do so without some serious magic involved.
11721386 This is something that actually has a deep connection to the Great Rune within Leonard. I can't say much due to it being a slight spoiler, but trust me, I've certainly thought about that detail.

So they haven't tried the stream water yet? I thought they were going to do that earlier.

Biology and genetics are really just gentle suggestions in this world, it seems.
