Ok, maybe is the size of the chapters but i feel like the story is either going too fast or too slow at times, best way i can think to avoid it is to have each be dedicated to action or plot, either have them interact with the characters so we get the back and forth or dedicate it to action, if you try to mix both in the same it feels like nothing relevant happened, just a opinion.
