StandInTheSun

Hi! I'm Sunny, I do horror, and I'm an insufferable moron that always has at least 5 stories I constantly plan to finish but never do.

T

Two ponies stumble across a strange town in the middle of the woods. It shouldn't be there, and everything about it seems wrong and off-putting.

I'll probably expand on this and make it more detailed at some point, no promises though

That’s when I saw it. One of the flat ponies was standing in the middle of the road, staring me down. This one was different from the others, however. I could see his face. He could barely be considered a pony. His eyes were too small and spaced too widely, his muzzle was too long and his smile, oh Celestia his smile. It stretched to the outer edges of his face, much farther than any pony’s ever could and he had too many teeth. Without thinking, I brought my rifle up off my back and shot at him. I hit him twice in the barrel and his smile disappeared. He screamed a high-pitched scream and keeled over before dissipating into the shadows that the buildings cast in the evening light.

Did they find a real horse?

As a one-off I’m reading at 1:30, this story is fantastic. The pacing is well fit for its purpose, and the constant reminder that something about this town is wrong does wonders for my paranoid monkey brain. It’s a good read, and I think you’ve made something very cool :)

Based on the description, I figured this was going to be based on Story of the Blanks. Color me pleasently surprised.

totally ready for this, seems like a really good horror fic even without looking. Hope its good!
